국문 초록

본 연구는 동화(童話)가 케이팝 걸그룹의 가사에 활용되었다는 점에 주목하여 2010년대 케이팝 걸그룹의 동화 모티브 가사 분석 연구를 진행하였다. 대중음악에서 곡을 부르는 것은 가수지만 곡을 제작하는 데 있어 조금 더 자세한 스토리텔링을 해야 하는 것은 작사가와 회사의 몫이다. 회사는 콘셉트의 전반적인 내용을 기획하여 작사가에게 맡기고 작사가는 기획 내에서 가사를 써낸다. 동화는 이미 완성된 스토리텔링에 가사적 허용과 표현을 덧붙여 대중에게 쉽게 접근할 수 있다는 점에서 2010년대 걸그룹에게 세계관의 영역 보다는 일시적인 콘셉트로 이용되었다. 연구 대상으로 지정한 12곡의 가사를 주제와 동화 내용 사용 범위의 측면에서 분석한 결과 사랑을 주제로 삼은 곡과 더불어 동화 내용의 일부 장면만 사용한 곡이 많았던 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 후에 나올 걸그룹의 동화 모티브 가사나 콘셉트 활용 방안을 모색하고 가사 분석 연구에도 참고가 되기를 바란다.

영문 초록

This study focused on the fact that fairy tales were used in the lyrics of K-pop girl groups, and conducted an analysis of the lyrics of fairy tale motifs of K-pop girl groups in the 2010s. Singing songs in popular music is a singer, but it is up to the songwriters and companies to do more detailed storytelling to produce the songs. The company plans the overall concept and leaves it to the songwriter, who writes lyrics in the project. The fairy tale was used by girl groups in the 2010s as a temporary concept rather than in the worldview area because it allows the audience to easily access the finished storytelling. According to the analysis of the lyrics of the 12 songs designated as the subject of the study, many of them used only part of the fairy tale along with the theme of love. The era of girl groups has entered the 2020s, showing a different aspect. Rather than a love-themed song, lyrics expressing the subject who can love and be proud of themselves are gaining popularity. Through this research, we will analyze the fairy tale motif lyrics and concept utilization methods of girl groups, and hope that it will be helpful for the analysis of fairy tale motif lyrics and lyrics that come out later.
