영문 초록

Health problems occurring in Korea is greatly influenced by the outside world. As such, from the perspective of countries where the health environment is greatly influenced by the outside, but international trade is inevitable, domestic health and environmental policies should be in harmony with trade policies. However, modern strategic trade policies use domestic health and environmental regulations as a tool for trade protection. Therefore, in order to avoid such strategic actions of other countries and increase our own health welfare, the health-related expertise in trade negotiations is required. Goods such as health and the environment are non-market goods that are difficult to measure their value. If the value of these non-market goods can be measured by comparing them to observable data, it will be possible to measure the value without serious bias. Hedonic price analysis makes that possible. However, since identification problems arise during the statistical analysis process, experts with social and behavioral science knowledge are needed to solve them. After that, the policy is implemented dynamically over time along with the interaction of policy targets. The design of urban health policy needs to be done through simulation because of complexity, and for this, simulation tools such as system dynamics are needed. Ultimately, policy design related to urban health is not simply limited to health and medical experts. This sector is a representative interdisciplinary area that requires cooperation from all social scientists studying social behavior, ranging from seemingly unrelated international negotiation experts to economics, business analysts and statistician.
