중소기업의 기업가정신이 지속가능경영의 성과에 미치는 조절효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 중소기업에서 지속가능경영의 사회적, 경제적, 환경적 책임을 실천하는 활동이 재무적 및 비재무적 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는가를 확인하고, 경영자의 혁신성, 진취성 및 위험감수성이라는 기업가정신의 요소가 이들간 관계에 조절영향을 미치는가를 조사연구를 통해 확인하였다. 대구·경북지역에서 활동하고 있는 중소기업 최고경영자 213명의 표본을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 수집된자료를 분석한 결과 재무적 성과에는 경제적 책임 활동이, 비재무적 성과에는 경제적 책임 및 사회적 책임을실천하는 지속가능경영 활동이 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 하지만 환경적 책임 활동은 재무적및 비재무적 성과 모두에 유의적 영향이 없는 것으로 분석되었다. 그리고 기업가정신의 조절효과를 확인한 결과, 중소기업 경영자의 기업가정신에 따라 지속가능경영 활동의성과는 달라질 수 있음을 확인하였다. 기업가정신 혁신성과 진취성이 높은 경우 사회적 책임 활동은 재무적및 비재무적 성과를 높여주지만, 혁신성과 진취성이 낮은 경영자일수록 경제적 책임 경영활동을 전개할 때비재무적 성과가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 기업가정신 위험감수성은 유의한 조절영향이 없는 것을확인하였다.

영문 초록

This study confirms whether the efforts to practice social, economic, and environmental responsibilities of sustainable management in SMEs have positive effects on financial and non-financial performance, and whether the elements of entrepreneurship such as innovativeness, proactiveness, and risk-taking of managers have some moderating effects on this relations. . Data were collected and analyzed through 213 CEOs of SMEs in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions. As a result of analyzing the main effects of sustainability management, it was found that economic responsibility activities has a positive effect on financial performance, and efforts to prac￾tice economic and social responsibility have positive effects on non-financial performance. However, the prac￾tice of environmental responsibility has no significant effects on corporate performance. And as a result of confirming the moderating effects of entrepreneurship, the influence of social responsibility activities of sustainability management on financial and non-financial performance was positively moderated by innovativeness and proactiveness of entrepreneurship. And the influence of economic responsibility of sus￾tainability management on non-financial performance was negatively moderated by innovativeness and proac￾tiveness of CEO entrepreneurship. Also, the moderating effects of risk-taking element of entrepreneurship was found to be insignificant. As results of this analysis, it was found that the influence of sustainability management on corporate performance can vary depending on the entrepreneurship of the SMEs CEO.
