교육 방법에 따른 한국교회의 예술과 건축에 관한 연구

국문 초록

한국 교회는 교회에서 주로 사용하는 교육방법에 따라서 교회 예술과 건축의 형태들이 변화되어 왔다. 그래서 교회 예술과 교회 건축을제대로 이해하기 위해서는 교회가 사용하고 있는 교육방법을 찾아내고분석할 필요가 있는 것이다. 그러나 교회에서 사용하고 있는 교육방법을 제대로 이해하기 위해서는 먼저 교회의 유형을 살펴보아야 한다. 왜냐하면, 교회 안에서 사용하는 교육방법은 교회의 유형에 따라서 달라지기 때문이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 한국 교회의 주요 유형 세 가지를카톨릭 교회, 전형적인 개신 교회, 새로운 형태의 개신 교회로 나눌 것이다. 본 논문에서 연구자는 이 세 가지의 교회 유형들이 어떻게 교회안에서 교육방법의 선택에 영향을 미쳤는지 밝힐 것이다. 그리고 교회안에서 사용하는 교육방법이 어떻게 교회 예술과 교회 건축에 영향을미쳤는지에 대해서도 알아볼 것이다. 다시 말하면, 연구자는 한국 교회안에서의 교육 방법과 예술, 그리고 건축의 특징이 교회의 유형에 기반해서 서로 관련되어 있다는 점을 증명할 것이다. 더 나아가 연구자는사회적 상황과 교회 안의 성도들의 기호와 필요가 교회 안에서 어떤 교육방법을 사용할지에 대한 선택의 요인이 될 수 있다는 점도 보여줄 것이다. 그러므로 만약 어떤 사람이 한 교회를 알기 원한다면, 먼저 교회의 유형을 살펴보아야 한다. 그리고 나서 교회 안에서의 교육방법, 예술, 건축기법, 사회적 상황, 성도들의 기호와 필요를 종합적으로 살펴보아야 한다. 본 논문은 기독교교육, 기독교예술, 기독교건축을 복합적으로 연구한 융합연구의 새로운 시도가 될 것이라 생각한다.

영문 초록

Korean church has changed in terms of the forms of church art and architecture according to educational methods that the church emphasizes. Therefore, in order to understand the church art and the church architecture we should discover educational methods that the church uses. In addition, in order to understand educational methods that the church uses we should check the types of the church because educational methods are different according to the church type. The researcher will classify Korean church into three major types: Catholic church, typical Protestant church, and new-fashioned Protestant church. In this paper, the researcher will reveal how these three types of church affect the educational methods in the church; the educational methods affect the art and the church architecture. In other words, the researcher will prove that the educational methods, art, and architecture of the Korean churches are interrelated on the basis of the church type. Furthermore, the researcher will show that social contexts or the preferences of the congregation influence on the selection of the educational methods in the church. Therefore, if someone wants to know a certain church, first they should check the church type, and should be interested in discovering the educational methods, the art, the architecture, the social contexts, and the preferences of the congregation comprehensively. This paper will contribute to the development of interdisciplinary research between education and art, and architecture in the church.
