국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니의 인성, 양육효능감, 양육행동과 유아의 인성 및 자아존중감의 관계 를 알아보았다. 이를 위해 영유아교육기관에 재원 중인 유아의 어머니를 대상으로 어머 니의 인성, 양육효능감, 양육행동, 유아의 인성, 자아존중감 검사를 실시하여 자료를 수 집·분석하였다. 자료수집은 2020년 12월과 2021년 1월에 웹 설문과 각 기관에서 직접 설문지를 배포하여 회수하였고, 171부를 최종 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 어머니의 인 성, 양육효능감, 양육행동과 유아의 인성과 자아존중감의 관계는 유의미한 상관이 나타 났다. 둘째, 양육효능감이 유아의 인성과 자아존중감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해 실제 유아의 인성과 자아존중감 향상을 위해 어머니의 양육효 능감 증진을 위한 방안이 이루어져야 함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the influence between the mother's demographic characteristicsand each variable in order to investigate the relationship between mother's personality,parenting efficacy, parenting behavior and the young children's personality andself-esteem perceived by mother. For this purpose, data were collected and analyzedby conducting mothers' personality, parenting efficacy, parenting behavior, youngchildren's personality, and self-esteem scales for mothers of children enrolled in national-public daycare centers and kindergartens. For data collection, web surveys andquestionnaires were distributed directly by each institution between December 2020and January 2021. Then, 171 copies were used for the final analysis. As a result ofthe study, first, there was a significant correlation between the mother's personality,parenting efficacy, and parenting behavior and the young children's personality andself-esteem perceived by mother. Second, the parenting efficacy was found to affectyoung children's personality and self-esteem. These results suggest that plans shouldbe made to enhance the parenting efficacy of mothers to actually improve young children’spersonality and self-esteem.
