아동가구의 다차원적인 박탈이 가족 건강성, 부모의 양육스트레스와 우울에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 아동가구의 다차원적인 박탈 유형을 살펴보고 가족 스트레스 이론과 Hill 의 ABC-X 모델을 적용하여 박탈에 따른 가족 스트레스 메커니즘을 파악하는 것에 있다. 구체적으로 가족 건강성을 가족의 내부적인 자원으로, 부모의 양육스트레스를 가족 내 스트레스 사건인 박탈에 대한 인식으로, 그리고 박탈의 최종 결과로써 부모의 우울에 집중하였다. 연구목적을 위해 930개의 아동가구를 대상으로 잠재프로파일분석을 실시하여 박탈 수준에 따라 가족유형을 분류하였고, 이후에는 각 가족 유형별로 아동가구의 박탈, 가족 건강성, 부모의 양육스트레스, 우울 간의 구조적 관계를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 아동가구의 박탈은 전영역 저수준-주거 집중 박탈형, 여가ㆍ저축ㆍ교육 집중 박탈형, 전영역 고수준-다중박탈형이라는 세 가지 집단으로 유형화되었다. 이러한 세 가족 유형에 Hill의 ABC-X 모델을 적용하였을 때, 앞선 두 가족 유형은 모든 경로가 유의하게 나타나 가족 스트레스 이론에 따른 구조적인 메커니즘이 검증되었지만, 마지막 전영역 고수준-다중박탈형의 경우 가족 건강성은 부모의 양육스트레스와 우울에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 결과를 통하여 궁극적으로 부모의 우울을 예방하기 위한 시사점과 실천적인 방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the multidimensional nature of child household deprivation, then apply the family stress theory and Hill’s ABC-X model to understand the family stress mechanism as an outcome of deprivation. Specifically, the study focused on the role of family wellness as an internal family resource, parenting stress as a perception of household stress event, and parental depression as a final outcome. Thus, Latent Profile Analysis was conducted on a total of 930 households in order to classify the family types based on deprivation. After, the study verified the relationship among deprivation, family wellness, parenting stress, and parental depression on the classified each group. As a result, household deprivation was categorized into three (low level in all sub areas-the housing focused, leisureㆍsavingsㆍ education focused, and high level in all sub areas-multiple deprivation type) family groups. The former two groups were found to suitably explain the structural family stress mechanism based on Hill’s model. However, in the case of the multiple deprived family type, family wellness did not show any significance towards parenting stress and depression, which it was only this group that failed to explain Hill’s model. With the given results, practical implications were made, along with measures to prevent parental depression.
