창업경진대회 참가자의 특성이 창업의지에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 창업경진대회 참가자들을 대상으로 가족이나 지인으로부터 얻는 잠재적인 창업교육 영향, 이론 및 실습기반의 제도적인 창업교육 및 창업지원자금의 수혜가 창업의지에 미치는 영향을 기업가정신의 매개효과를 중심으로 실증 분석을 한 것이다. 창업경진대회를 준비하거나 참가한 152명의 설문지를 바탕으로 실증 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 분석결과 첫째, 독립변수인 창업경진대회 참가와 창업지원자금 수혜가 종속변수인 창업의지에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 독립변수인 이론기반 창업교육과 창업지원자금 수혜는 매개변수인 기업가정신의 혁신성에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤고, 실습기반 창업교육과 창업지원자금 수혜는 위험감수성에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 독립변수와 종속변수와의 관계에서 기업가정신의 매개효과를 분석한 결과, 이론기반 창업교육, 창업지원자금 수혜와 창업의지와의 관계에서 혁신성이 유의하였고, 이론기반 창업교육과 창업의지와의 관계에서 진취성이 유의하였으며, 창업지원자금 수혜와 창업의지와의 관계에서 위험감수성이 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 나머지 독립변수와 종속변수의 관계에서 기업가정신 관련 변수의 매개효과는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 많은 국외 연구사례와는 달리 아직까지 가족이나 지인으로부터 받는 잠재적인 창업교육 영향과 이론 및 실습 기반의 제도적인 창업교육이 아직 창업의지에 효과적으로 영향을 미치지 않음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 산업 및 지역과 연계하는 맞춤형 창업경진대회를 늘리고 창업지원자금도 적기에 제공함으로써 예비창업자들의 창업의지를 강화하고 양호한 창업환경을 조성하는 것에 연구의미가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to verify whether the effects of potential start-up education from family and acquaintances, theoretical and practice-based institutional start-up education, and the effect of the benefit of start-up support funds on the entrepreneurial intention of participants in start-up competitions. As a result of the analysis, first, participation in start-up competition and receipt of start-up support funds, which are independent variables, had a positive (+) effect on the dependent variables, the entrepreneurial intention. Second, the independent 36variables, theory-based start-up education and start-up support fund benefit, had a positive (+) effect on innovativeness, and practice-based start-up education and start-up support fund benefit had a positive (+) effect on risk taking. Third, the mediating effect of entrepreneurship was found to be partially significant. These research results show that the potential influence of entrepreneurship education received from family and acquaintances and institutional entrepreneurship education based on theory and practice do not yet effectively affect entrepreneurial intentions. Therefore, research is meaningful in strengthening the entrepreneurial intention and creating a good start-up environment by increasing start-up competitions linked with industries and regions and providing start-up support funds in a timely manner.
