대학생의 창업멘토링이 창업의도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 창업멘토링의 경력기능, 심리사회적기능, 역할기능이 창업의도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지, 사회적지지의 가족지지, 동료그룹지지 조절효과를 중심으로 실증분석을 통하여 검증하였다. 대학에 재학 중인 대학생들을 대상으로 서베이로 120부의 자료를 수집 및 분석한 주요 결과, 첫째, 경력기능과 창업의도 간의 인과관계는 예상과 달리 유의적 인과관계가 성립되지 않아 기각됐지만, 심리사회적기능과 역할기능은 창업의도에 유의적인 정(+)의 영향이 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 창업멘토링의 경력기능이 높을수록 창업의도에 미치는 영향 관계에서 사회적지지의 가족지지는 조절효과의 역할로 작용하지 않았지만, 심리사회적기능과 역할기능은 창업의도와의 영향 관계에서 가족지지는 유의적인 정(+)의 조절효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 창업멘토링의 경력기능이 높을수록 창업의도에 미치는 영향 관계에서 심리사회적기능과 역할기능은 창업의도와의 영향 관계에서 동료그룹지지는 유의적인 정(+)의 조절효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 실증연구는 다음과 같은 시사점이 있다. 첫째, 창업멘토링과 창업의도가 유의적인 긍정적 관계를 맺는다는 것이 실증분석을 통해 확인됨으로써 긍정적 관계를 주장한 기존 연구의 결과를 재확인하고 이론적인 지지 근거를 제공하였다. 둘째, 기존 연구에서 다루지 않았던 사회적지지의 조절변수를 추가로 확인함으로써 새로운 형태의 조절효과를 발견한 학문적 가치가 있다. 특히 창업멘토링과의 인과관계 규명을 위한 후속 연구는 최근 일부 학자들에 의해 이루어지고 있을 뿐 희소하고 미흡하기에 후속 연구로서 의미가 크다. 또한, 창업멘토링이 창업의도에 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 연구 결과로 볼 때, 멘토와 멘티 간의 신뢰와 친근감에 바탕으로 상호 호혜적 관계 형성과 멘토링 환경 구축이 중요하고 멘티에게 멘토는 과업 달성을 위한 준거의 틀로 설정되고 작용한다는 것이 입증된 것은 실무적 가치가 있다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to verify the effects of career, psychosocial, and role functions of entrepreneurial mentoring on entrepreneurial intention, family support of social support, and moderating effects of peer group support.,The main results of collecting and analyzing 120 copies of data from surveys of university students were as follows: First, the causal relationship between career function and entrepreneurial intention was rejected because there was no significant causal relationship unlike expected, but psychosocial function and role function had a significant positive (+) effect on entrepreneurial intention.,Second, family support of social support did not play a role of moderating effect in the relationship between career function of entrepreneurial mentoring and entrepreneurial intention, but psychological social function and role function had a significant positive (+) moderating effect in the relationship between entrepreneurial intention and family support.,Third, in the relationship between the higher the career function of entrepreneurial mentoring and the entrepreneurial intention, the psychosocial function and the role function were found to have a significant positive (+) moderating effect on the relationship between entrepreneurial intention and peer group support.,This empirical study has the following implications.,First, the empirical analysis confirmed that entrepreneurial mentoring and entrepreneurial intention had a significant positive relationship, thereby reaffirming the results of the existing studies that claimed positive relationships and providing theoretical support.,Second, it has academic value that discovered new moderating effect by further confirming the moderating variable of social support that was not covered in the previous study.,In particular, follow-up studies for identifying causal relationships with entrepreneurial mentoring are meaningful as follow-up studies because they are rare and insufficient recently by some scholars.,In addition, the results of the study that entrepreneurial mentoring has a significant effect on entrepreneurial intention show that it is important to form mutually beneficial relationships and establish a mentoring environment based on trust and intimacy between mentors and mentee, and it is practical value for mentee to be established and acted as a framework for achieving tasks.
