국문 초록

이 연구는 DSM-5(APA, 2013)에서 품행장애의 진단을 위해 범주적으로 ‘제한된 친사회적 정서’ 명시자로 정의한 부분과 관련한 여러 연구들을 기반으로, DSM-5 LPE 명시자로 진단된 품행장애 아동 및 청소년이 다양한 임상 및 이론적으로 관련된 기능에서 DSM-5 LPE 명시자에 대한 기준을 충족시키지 못하는 품행장애와 어떠한 다른 점이 있는지에 대해, 수행된 연구들을 검토하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 위해 행동 문제와 품행장애와의 관련성에 대해 검토하였고, 냉담-무정서 특질 및 반사회적 행동에 대한 발달 경로에 대해 검토하였다. 냉담-무정서를 특질로 볼 것인가에 대해서는 그 안정성이나 높은 유전력 그리고 성인기의 성격 및 정신병질과의 연계성에 기초하여 냉담-무정서가 품행장애의 특질이라는 입장을 주장하는 견해도 있고, 기본적으로 냉담-무정서가 품행장애의 특질이라는 부분에 대해서는 동의하지만, 이에 대한 더 많은 증거가 필요하다는 견해도 있다. 품행장애와 관련해서 많은 연구들이 다각도로 수행되고는 있으나 아직은 명백한 증거를 제시하는 연구는 없다. 품행장애와 관련해서 수행된 연구들을 기반으로 더 다양하고 심도 있는 연구 결과들이 제시됨으로 인해 여러 가지 심각한 문제를 보이는 품행장애에 대한 이해도를 높이고, 적합한 치료 방법을 모색하기 위해 부단한 노력이 요구된다.

영문 초록

This study is based on several studies related to the part defined as a categorically ‘Limited Prosocial Emotion(LPE)’ specifier for the diagnosis of conduct disorder in the DSM-5(APA, 2013), and children with conduct disorder diagnosed with the DSM-5 LPE specifier and how adolescents differ from conduct disorders that do not meet the criteria for the DSM-5 LPE specifiers in various clinically and theoretically relevant functions. For this purpose, the relationship between behavioral problems and conduct disorder was reviewed, and developmental pathways for callous-unemotional traits and antisocial behavior were reviewed. Regarding whether callous-unemotional traits should be regarded as a trait, some argue that callous-unemotional traits is a trait of conduct disorder based on its stability, high heritability, and connection with personality and psychiatric disorders in adulthood. I agree that callous-unemotional traits is a characteristic of conduct disorder, but there is a view that more evidence is needed on this point. Many studies on conduct disorder have been conducted from various angles, but there is no study that provides clear evidence yet. As more diverse and in-depth research results are presented based on studies conducted in relation to conduct disorder, constant efforts are required to increase the understanding of conduct disorder with various serious problems and to seek suitable treatment methods.
