국문 초록

도산 안창호는 독립운동가, 민족지도자, 애국계몽운동가 등 많은 수식어를 가지고 있다. 그만큼 도산이 일생동안 전개한 정치활동이 주는 의미가 크기 때문이다. 연구자는 도산의 정치활동 중에서 독립활동이 보다 확장되고 국내외 독립활동이 연계되어 민족독립운동을 전개하는데 큰 기반이 되었던 활동시기에 주목하게 되었다. 도산의 활동 중에서 공립협회와 신민회 활동은 국내외의 독립활동을 조직화되고 체계화하며 민족독립을 위해 지속적인 독립활동을 전개할 수 있었던 정신적 원동력이 되었다. 그리고 도산의 공립협회와 신민회 활동을 기점으로 국내외활동이 연결고리가 되어 해외독립활동의 중심점이 되었다. 이런 도산의 활동은 국내외 민족을 규합하고 주체적으로 민족의 자유와 정의를 실천하려는 민족 스스로의 개혁의지를 반영하고 있다. 따라서 그 의미를 첫째, 현실적 국민자각운동 둘째, 연속적 독립의지의 실천 셋째, 주체적 개혁인식의 계기 넷째, 범국가적 평화론 제시로 보았다. 도산의 활동에 반영된 국내외 독립운동의 총체적 단결과 의지의 반영은 오늘날 당면한 민족통일문제를 풀어야 할 과제수행에 큰 의미를 주고 있다.

영문 초록

Dosan Ahn Chang Ho has many modifiers such as independence activist, nationalist leader and patriotic enlightenment activist. That is because the significance of political activity spread by Dosan for his lifetime is as much significant. The researcher became focused on the activity period when the independence activity became more extend and domestic or foreign independence activities became related to become great foundation in spreading the national independence movement among the political activities of Dosan. Among his activities, the Kong Rip Association activity and New People’s Society became mental driving force to organize and systematize the domestic and foreign independence activity while being able to spread the steady independence activity for the national independence. And the domestic and foreign activities became an interlink to become the central point of foreign independence activity starting with the Kong Rip Association activity and New People’s Society activities of Dosan. Such activity of his reflects the reformation intention of the nation itself trying to gather domestic and foreign people to practice freedom and justice of the nation independently. Therefore, the significance was considered first as the realistic people’s self awareness, second as the practice of continuous will of independence, third as the opportunity of subjective reformation awareness and fourth as the presentation of nationwide pacificism. The reflection of total unity and will of domestic and foreign independence movement reflected in his activity is giving great significance in performing the task to solve the national unity problem we are faced with today.
