한부모 다자녀가족을 위한 가정방문 음악중재 사례

국문 초록

본 연구는 한부모 다자녀가족이 가정방문 음악중재를 통해 어떠한 변화 과정을 경험하였으며, 그 의미는 무엇인지 탐색한 단일사례연구이다. 연구 참여자는 S시 교육청 교육복지대상인 여성 한부모 다자녀가족으로 어머니, 초등학교 6학년 남아, 4학년 여아, 2학년 남아로 구성된 가족이다. 연구는 2020년 11월 14일부터 2020년 12월 5일까지 주 2회 회기당 60분씩, 총 8회기를 진행하였다. 자료수집과 분석은 Stake가 제시한 방식에 따라 회기별 축어록과 일지 등을 통해 치료적 경험의 의미를 도출하였다. 연구의 결과로 가족 상호작용의 어려움을 스스로 발견하고 긍정적인 의사소통의성장 과정을 경험하였으며, 경험의 의미로는 3개의 범주와 9개의 중심주제가 드러났다. 첫째, ‘우리 가족의 염원’에서는 불편한 관계 토로, 내 마음 알아주기, 함께하는 행복, 둘째, ‘기다려지는음악 시간’에서는 감정 해소에 대한 갈망, 집으로 찾아오는 설레임, 음악으로 소통하는 풍요로움, 셋째, ‘가족의 재해석’에서는 그래도 우리 가족, 엄마의 수고와 사랑 확인, 응집과 변화의 힘으로도출되었다. 본 연구는 가정방문 음악중재 서비스를 통해 한부모 다자녀가족의 가족기능과 상호작용에 긍정적인 성장 변화를 확인하고, 가정방문 음악중재에 관한 하나의 적용사례를 제시했다는데의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This case study examined the process of change that single-parent, multiple child family experienced through music intervention during home visits as well as its meaning. The study participant was a single mother, and multiple child family receiving education welfare from the Seoul Office of Education, comprising the mother, a boy in sixth grade, a girl in fourth grade, and a boy in second grade. The study was held from November 14 to December 5, 2020, with two 60-minute sessions each week for a total of 8 sessions. Data collection and analysis were conducted according to the method proposed by Stake, and the meaning of therapeutic experience was derived through verbatim records and diaries of each session. The study found that the participants discovered the difficulties of interaction in the family themselves and experienced growth in positive communication. The meaning of the experience revealed three major categories and nine core themes: (1) ‘My Family’s Wish’ with the themes of Discussing Uncomfortable Relationships, Knowing My Heart, and Happiness Together; (2) ‘Awaited Music Time’ with the themes of Longing for Releasing Emotions, Excitement to Come Home, and Enrichment in Communicating Through Music; and (3) ‘Reinterpretation of Family’ with the themes of Still We Are Family, Find out of mother's hard work and love, and Power of Cohesion and Change. This study is meaningful as it confirms the home-based music intervention service led to positive growth in the family function and interaction of a single mother, and multiple child family. This study is significant as it presents a case of a home-based music intervention.
