니체의 형이상학 비판

국문 초록

니체가 시종일관 그 사상적 영역에서 펼쳐오던 전통 형이상학에 대한 비판이 무엇을 의미하는가를 살펴보고자 하는 것이 본 논문의 주제이다. 또한 그러한 니체의 비판을 과학주의와 실증주의라는 ‘반형이상학’의 입장으로 간주하는 것이 정당한가를 밝히고자 한다. 즉 형이상학에 대한 그의 비판을 단순한 반형이상학적 논박으로 이해하기보다는 오히려 전통 형이상학을 비판함으로써 자신만의 형이상학을 전개하기 위한 도약대로서 이해하고자 한다. 다시 말하자면 니체의 후기사상에 있어서 힘에의 의지와 영원회귀라는 형이상학에 의해 대체되는 이른바 순간의 시도가 아니라 그의 사상전체를 꿰뚫고 있는 단초로 보여진다는 점을 염두에 두고서 니체의 형이상학비판을 고찰하고자 한다. 본고에서는 형이상학에 대한 니체의 비판을 두 가지의 주제로 나누어서 고찰해보고 그의 형이상학비판이 가지는 의미가 무엇인지를 물어봄으로써 논의를 맺고자 한다. 과학이 형이상학으로 대체되는 사태를 니체는 과학의 입장에 서있는 것처럼 형이상학적 모든 가치규범의 상실을 흔쾌히 인정하면서도, 그 가치규범에 대한 과학의 대체현상을 강력하게 부정한다. 여기에서 궁극적 근거의 영역을 세계관의 영역이라고 말한다면, 형이상학에서 과학으로 대체된다고 하는 사태는, 형이상학으로부터 과학이라는 세계관의 교체라고 말할 수 있다. 그러나, 니체는 이 형이상학으로부터 과학이라는 세계관의 교체를, 세계관의 진정한 교체와 전환이라고는 인정하지 않는 것이다. 과연 니체 자신은 이 세계관의 상대적인 교체라는 굴레를 벗어던지고 새로운 세계관―궁극적 근거의 영역을 제대로 통찰하려는―을 세웠던 것일까? 니체의 형이상학비판을 고찰함으로써 얻어진 이 관점이 장차 전개될 우리의 논의에 하나의 교두보가 될 것은 의심의 여지가 없다.

영문 초록

The thing that is focused on in this paper is to examine what the critic of metaphysics is in Nitzsche's thoughts have been done and to expose if the position regard these Nietzsche's critics as anti-metaphysics is reasonable. In other words, I'd like to make out Nietzsche's critic of metaphysics is a springboard which makes it possible for that thing to start to unroll his thoughts by criticizing the traditional metaphysics severely. The most important thing in the critic of metaphysics in Nietzsche is not to overpass one point that his critic is not a temporary venture but a sprout go through his thoughts. This paper has tried to interpret the critic of metaphysics going through all his works as two: a. metaphysics as traditional value model. b. equality. the critic Nietzsche recognizes the loss of metaphysical value gladly as replacing metaphysics with science but strongly denies replacing traditional value by science. At this moment to say an outlook on the world as ultimately authority, that replacement from metaphysics to science can be a replacement in an outlook on the world. However Nietzsche never authorizes that substitution as real at all. Then is Nietzsche supposed to build up a new outlook discerns ultimately authority from the very beginning to the end with restriction as relative substitution thrown away? An angle that can be obtained by seeing through the critic of metaphysics in Nietzsche will be a bridgehead of our debate in the future.
