청소년의 시민성 역량 척도 개발 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년 시민성 역량 척도를 개발하고 신뢰성과 타당성을 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위해 시민성 역량의 개념을 정리하였고 기존 연구를 기반으로 예비문항을 구성하였다. 예비문항은 전문가 자문을 통해 척도개발 목적에 부합하는지, 청소년에 적합한지를 파악하였다. 이 과정을 통해 예비문항이 총 38문항으로 구성되었다. 예비조사는 2021년 상반기 진행된 청소년 프로그램에 참여한 중ㆍ고등학교 재학생 392명을 대상으로 하였다. 예비조사 결과 7개의 요인이 발견되었으나 두 개의 요인이 문항이 부적합하고 내용이 상이하여 전문가와 상의 후 최종적으로 5개 요인과 23개 문항을 구성하였다. 척도의 타당성 검증을 위해 2021년 하반기 청소년 프로그램에 참여한 중ㆍ고등학교 재학생 353명을 대상으로 본조사를 실시하였으며, 설문조사 응답을 바탕으로 AMOS 21.0을 활용한 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 최종적으로 제1요인 7문항, 제2요인 4문항, 제3요인 4문항, 제4요인 3문항, 제5요인 5문항으로 총 23문항이 선정되었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 새로운 청소년 시민성 역량 척도를 개발하는 연구의 의의와 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to develop and validate a scale to measure youth citizenship competency. To achieve this purpose, this study reviewed the citizenship competency scale and measurement tools in the previous studies and extracted possible items. The first questionnaire items determined whether it met the purpose and it suited for adolescents through the experts’ advice. Through this process, the first questionnaire consisted of a total of 38 questions. The first survey was conducted on 392 middle and high school students who in the youth program conducted in 2021. As a result of the first survey, 7 factors were found, but two factors had inappropriate items and had different contents, so after consulting with experts, 5 factors and 23 items were finally composed. In this study, a second survey was conducted to verify the validity of the scale. The survey was conducted on 353 middle and high school students who in the youth program conducted in 2021. This was confirmed by factor analysis using AMOS 21.0. Finally, a total of 23 items were selected, including 7 items for factor 1, 4 items for factor 2, 4 items for factor 3, 3 items for factor 4, and 5 items for factor 5. Finally, this study provided the significance and implications of the study to develop a new youth citizenship competency scale.
