장마당이 북한 계급제도와 체제에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 1945년 8월 15일 해방 이후 북한 민간시장의 생성과 변천과정을 정리하였다. 특히 90년대 중반 북한에서 배급제도가 중단되면서 주민들 사이에서 활성화 되었던 장마당에 대해 연구 분석하였다. 동시에 북한의 계급과 성분제도에 대해서도 연구하였다. 북한은 전 주민을 3대 계층과 56부류로 분류하여 관리하고 있다. 출신성분과 가족배경 등을 중심으로 계층과 부류를 결정하고 각 계층에 따른 차별대우가 심각하다. 본 논문은 장마당이 활성화 되면서 북한의 계급제도에 미치는 영향에 대하여 분석하였고 더 나아가서 장마당이 북한 체제에 미치는 영향력과 전망에 대해서도 고찰하였다

영문 초록

This study summarizes the process of creation and evolution of the private market in North Korea after the liberation on Aug. 15, 1945. In particular, this research was conducted on Jangmadang, a local marketplace which was activated as the distribution system by the North Korean regime collapsed since the mid 90s. At the same time, this paper studied the hierarchical system of North Korea. North Korea classifies all residents into three classes and 56 categories. Discrimination based on each class is serious. In this paper, we analyze the impact of the Jangmadang on the class system of North Korea, and further examined the influence and prospects of Jangmadang on the North Korean regime.
