국문 초록

이 논문의 목적은 둘이다. 첫 번째 목적은 감응이라는 사유형식의 함축을 도출함으로써 동양의 類別의 특성과 氣론 등, 감응론과 관련된 논의를 풍부히 하는 것이다. 두 번째 목적은, 이 글의 논의를 통해 내용이 풍부해진 감응론을 바탕으로 한의학의 六淫辨證을 분석함으로써 한의학의 이론적 토대로서 감응론의 적절성을 지지하는데 있다. 이 논의는 운슐트(Paul U. Unschuld)와 포커트(Manfred Porkert) 등이 상관적 사유에 내준 한의학의 기초이론의 자리를 감응과 유비에 돌려주는 일의 예비 작업으로서의 의미를 지닌다. 연구자는 개체 중심적 사유와 관계 중심적 사유를 감응론의 함의를 도출하는 구도로 사용하여, 감응론의 類別의 기준이 관계 중심적이라는 점과 감응을 매개하는 기가 본체이자 현상이라는 점, 그리고 감응적 세계관에는 비어있는 공간이 없다는 점, 감응적 세계관은 과정적 세계관과 어울린다는 점, 감응의 사유 하에서 변화의 법칙은 만물이 공유하는 리듬으로 나타난다는 점 등을 논증했다. 그리고 이런 논의에 기초해서 한의학의 육음변증이 감응적 세계관에서 도출되는 변화의 법칙을 전제한다는 점, 육음변증의 증이 본체와 현상의 격절을 허용하지 않는 감응의 세계관과 어울린다는 점, 육음변증에서 보이는 유별의 특성이 감응론의 특성과 부합한다는 점을 논증했다.

영문 초록

Paul U. Unschold and Manfred Porkert who are the representative scholars of oriental medicine proposed correlative thinking as the basic theory for oriental medicine, equalizing resonance with correlative thinking. But there is difference not to be overlooked between resonance and correlative thinking. In this thesis, I tried to widen the implication of resonance and to give the position of basic theory for oriental medicine to resonance, replacing correlative theory. The implications that I found and the important contents discussed in this thesis are as follows. 1) Resonance is the standard of classification. for example, cow and grass is regarded as the same class for their resonance. 2) Under the worldview of resonance, everything is classified by resonance. A cow is grouped as cow. because a cow is like other cow while in the west a cow is put into the cow bag for it has cowness. 3) Qi(氣) is substance and appearance. 4) Qi(氣) which intermediate resonance is the concept of existence and relation. 5) Resonance thinking suits process understanding of the world; Causal thinking comports well with substance views. As you know, symptom differentiation(辨證) is unique in the oriental medicine theory. symptom differentiation is well explained with the spectrum of resonance. At first, symptom differentiation is focused on symptom as appearance not substance. Second, the criterion of symptom differentiation for instance liu-yin(六淫) is made by following the rhythm of environment. Third, liu-yin is changed into the criterion of symptom distinction. Finally, liu-yin is not true for the cause of illness. But it couldn’t be a problem to the establishers of oriental medicine for their concern was not “what is the cause of illness” but “how can treat the illness”
