아동보호전문기관 심리치료사의 치료경험에 관한 질적연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 아동보호전문기관에서 일하는 심리치료사들이 어떤 경험을 하고 그들의 역할은 무엇인지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 아동보호전문기관에서의 심리치료 경력이 각각 8년과 10년인 심리치료사 두 명을 목적 표집하여 선정하였고 수집된 자료는 참여자들의 인터뷰 내용과 연구자의 경험을 바탕으로 탐구하여 기술하였다. 연구의 신뢰도와 타당도를 확보하기 위해 상담경력 15년, 6편의 질적연구 경험이 있는 감수자의 조언과 예비인터뷰 결과를 바탕으로 수정된 반구조화된 질문지를 사용하여 인터뷰를 하였다. 그 결과 아동보호전문기관의 심리치료사들은 학대피해아동 사례에서 오는 낯설음과 비자발적 내담자의 낮은 참여도와 지지부진한 진행과 종결, 변화되지 않는 양육환경으로 인해 좌절감을 느끼기도 했다. 그러나 심리치료사들은 슈퍼비전, 개인분석, 자기 돌봄 등의 과정을 통해 아동의 성장을 돋고 함께 성장하며 심리치료사 스스로가 온전한 치료의 도구로 따뜻하고 단단하게 담아주는 역할을 하게 되었다. 본 연구를 통해 아동보호전문기관 심리치료사의 역할과 그 의미를 새롭게 알게 되었다는 점에서 연구에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out what experiences psychotherapists working in child protection agency have and what their roles are. To this end, two psychotherapists with 8 and 10 years of experience in psychotherapy at a child protection institution were selected for the purpose of sampling and the collected data were explored and described based on the interview details of the participants and the experience of the researchers. In order to secure the reliability and validity of the research, interviews were conducted using a semi-structured questionnaire modified based on the advice of a reviewer with 15 years of counseling experience and 6 qualitative research experiences and the results of the preliminary interview. As a result, the psychotherapists of child protection agencies were frustrated by the unfamiliarity of cases of abused children, the low participation of involuntary clients, sluggish progress and termination, and the unchanging parenting environment. However, through the processes of supervision, personal analysis, and self-care, psychotherapists stimulate the growth of children and grow together, and the psychotherapists themselves play the role of providing warm and firm tools as a complete therapy tool. This study is significant in that the role and meaning of a psychotherapist in a child protection institution were newly discovered.
