새로운 시각을 통해 본 음악교육의 과제

국문 초록

이 연구는 인공지능, 뉴노멀, 포스트 코로나 등 새로운 상황에 발맞추어 발표된 교육부와 산하 단체의 여러 자료를 분석하여 미래 교육의 방향을 살피고 이에 따른 음악교육의 과제를 도출하고자 하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 문헌 검토를 통해 미래 교육에 대한 흐름을 파악하고 음악교육에서 관심을 가지고 지속적인 연구가 필요한 과제에 대해 파악할 수 있었다. 그 결과, 자료 대부분이 <인간>, <디지털>, <범교과>, <학습환경>에 초점을 맞추고 있고 이러한 내용을 근간으로 음악교육에서는 ‘교육과정’, ‘포용과 공감’, ‘컴퓨팅 사고’, ‘맞춤형 수업’이 핵심 내용으로 대두되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이에 따른 음악교육의 과제에 대해 논의하면 다음과 같다. 첫째로 미래사회의 다양한 상황 속에서 음악 고유의 본질이 바탕을 이루는 교육과정이 개발되어야 한다. 둘째로 미래사회에 학교 음악 교육을 통한 인간과의 관계와 소통, 배려, 상대와 공감할 수 있는 인간다움이 강조되어야 한다. 인공지능과 함께 면대면 수업을 통한 교사 역량이 균형을 이루며 수업에 활용되어야 한다. 셋째로 문제해결 과정으로써 창의적 음악 사고 과정 수업이 지속적으로 시도되어야 한다. 학교 음악 교육은 디지털, 인공지능 환경 위에 새로운 미래사회에 발 빠르게 대처할 수 있는 음악 고유의 특성을 살린 교과로 거듭나야 한다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to examine future directions in education and derive challenges in music education after analyzing various data provided by the Ministry of Education and its subdivisions. For this: there was examination of the trend of future education through a literature review, an analysis of challenges with an interest that requires continuous research in music education, and the results found the following: Most data focused on ‘Human’, ‘Digital’,‘Cross-curriculum’ and ‘Learning Environments’. There was an immersion in music education of: Curriculum, Inclusion-Empathy, Computing and Thinking, differentiated instruction. In this sense, discussing challenges in music education is as follows: First, developing curriculums should be based on the nature of music in consideration of the diverse situations of a future society. Second, it is required to emphasize human relationships, communications, caring and humanity for empathy with others through music education. It is also valuable to keep teacher competence balanced and used in classes through face-to-face classes together with artificial intelligence. Third, there should be continuous attempts to provide creative musical thinking courses as a part of problem-solving. At school lesson plans having the nature of music should evolve in music education, a which can promptly respond to changes in a future society under digital and artificial intelligence environments.
