7세기 말 日本의 政治變動과 百濟系 渡來人

국문 초록

본고는 7세기 후반 한반도의 전란으로 시작된 倭의 혼란과 그 혼란 속에서 즉위한 天智朝의 전후 수습정책 그리고 ‘壬申의 亂’을 통해 즉위한 天武의 전제정치가 한반도에서 건너온 渡來人의 일본 열도 정착에 어떤 영향을 미쳤는지에 관해 살펴본 논문이다. 663년 倭는 友邦國 百濟를 지원하기 위해 대규모 지원군을 파견했지만 羅唐 동맹군과의 전투에서 패배하면서 백제의 부흥도 실패로 끝났다. 백제 부흥의 희망이 사라지자 많은 백제인은 백제를 떠나 일본 열도로 이주했다. 이때 이주한 유민 중에는 舊 왕족, 귀족 등 백제의 상층 지배층부터 일반 백성까지 다양한 계층이 포함되어 있었다. 倭 조정은 이들을 신분과 재능에 따라 각지에 분산해 안치하고 일부 유민에게는 왜의 관직을 주어 조정의 관인으로 삼았다. 天智･天武天皇은 7세기 후반의 대내외적 위기를 극복하는 과정에서 渡來人의 재능과 그들이 가지고 온 선진적 학문과 기술을 통해 호족 연합체 국가 倭에서 중앙집권적 고대 국가 日本을 건설했다.

영문 초록

This paper studies the Japanese chaos caused by the war on the Korean Peninsula in the second half of the 7th century and the reform policies of the Tenji Dynasty to quelled the chaos, it also studies the Reform of the law system who ascended the throne through the Jinshin rebellion and the Baekje adherents who settled in the Japanese islands in this process. In 663, in order to support friendly country of Baekje, Japan sent a large-scale of supporting army, however, in the battle with the alliance of Silla and Tang, the Japanese army and Baekje revival army were defeated, and Baekje revival was ended in failure. As the revival of Baekje became impossible, many Baekje people had to leave Baekje land and move to the Japanese islands. Among these Baekje refugees, included multiple levels from the upper class of Baekje such as the old royalty and aristocracy to the ordinary people, the Japanese imperial court settled them in different places according to their identity and talents. Tenmu of Tenji Dynasty overcame the crisis at home and abroad in the second half of the 7th century by using these people who came from Korean Peninsula, at the same time, through the advanced knowledge and technology they brought over, it laid the foundation for the development of Japan which from a powerful clan union into a centralized ancient country.
