중소제조기업의 스마트팩토리 실행 성공 요인에 관한 복수 사례 연구

국문 초록

2008년 이후 세계 경제는 금융위기를 겪으며 금융자본주의의 위험성과 서비스 산업 일자리의 불안정을 경험함에 따라 실물경제의 중요성을 재인식하고 제조업의 중요성이 다시 부각하고 있으며, 특히 제조업의 혁신에 큰 역할을 하는 스마트팩토 리에 관심이 집중되었다. 각국 정부는 제조업 부활에 정책적 지원을 하면서 제조업 의 르네상스 시대가 다시 열렸다. 이에 힘입어 다수연구들이 스마트팩토리의 개념 과 스마트팩토리의 성공적인 도입을 위한 요인분석을 대상으로 진행되었다. 정부 의 목표, 지원과 기대에도 불구하고 스마트팩토리는 자동화 수준을 약간 상회하는 수준에 지나지 않았고, 내부 역량 부족 등으로 인해 스마트팩토리의 정착에는 실패 한 사례들이 나타나기 시작했다. 이에 본 연구는 스마트팩토리의 성공적 도입을 통 해 제조혁신과 공정의 효율성을 이루어낸 중소기업 스마트팩토리의 기술적, 조직 적 측면의 성공 요인을 분석하여 스마트팩토리의 도입 이후 성공적인 안착을 위한 방향을 사례 중심으로 분석하여 제시하였다. 스마트팩토리 우수사례기업으로 선정 된 자동차/전자부품 중소기업 4개 기업을 선정하여 선행연구를 토대로 중소기업의 스마트팩토리 도입시의 영향요인으로 도출된 5가지 핵심 요인인 정보 시스템, 플 랫폼 기술경쟁력, 업무 표준화 및 조직원 역량개발, 근로조건, 최고경영자 리더십 등을 중심으로 연구모형을 구성한 후 사례를 비교 분석했다. 분석 결과 플랫폼 기 술 경쟁력이 가장 중요한 요인으로 도출되었으며, 특히 스마트팩토리 내부에서 실 시간으로 생성되는 다양한 정보와 데이터의 분석과 활용을 관리하는 것이 무엇보 다 중요한 활동임을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Since 2008, the global economy has experienced the risks of financial capitalism and instability of service industry jobs during the financial crisis, re-recognizing the importance of the real economy and highlighting the importance of manufacturing and its innovation through smart factory. The Renaissance era of the manufacturing industry has reopened as governments have provided policy support for the revival of the manufacturing industry. Thanks to this, many studies were conducted on the concept of smart factory and factor analysis for the successful introduction of smart factory. Despite the government s goals, support and expectations, smart factories were only slightly above the level of automation, and cases of failure to settle smart factories began to appear due to lack of internal capabilities. Therefore, this study analyzed the success factors in the technical and organizational aspects of small and medium-sized smart factories that achieved manufacturing innovation and process efficiency through the successful introduction of smart factories and presented the direction for successful settlement. Based on previous studies, four automobile/electronic parts manufacturing SMEs represented as smart factory best practices were selected for analysis, and the research model was composed of information systems, platform technology competitiveness, business standardization and member competency development, working conditions, and CEO leadership. As a result of the analysis, platform technology competitiveness was found to be the most important factor, and in particular, it was confirmed that the analysis and utilization of various information and data generated in real time inside the smart factory is the most important activity.
