자녀요인이 기혼 취업여성의 정신건강에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 기혼 취업여성의 자녀요인이 일-가족 전이유형 및 가족-일 전이유형을 다중매개로 하여 정신건강에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법으로는 제7차 여성가족패널조사 데이터를 활용한 2차 자료 분석으로 30세~59세 임금근로 여성취업자 1,650명의 자료를 사용하였다. 연구결과 본 연구대상자들은 일-가족 긍정 전이와 가족-일 긍정 전이를 부정 전이보다 더 높게 경험하며, 전이 양상은 전형적인 모습을 보이지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 미취학 자녀수와 초중고 자녀수 모두 기혼 취업여성의 스트레스와 우울에 직접적 영향력이 없으나 전이유형을 매개로 하여 간접적 영향을 미치고 있었다. 스트레스에 대한 총효과는 미취학 자녀수가 가장 영향력이 있고 우울에 대한 총효과는 일-가족 부정 전이, 초중고 자녀수, 스트레스가 영향력 있는 요인으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 기혼 취업여성의 정신건강을 개선하기 위해서 정신건강 그 자체의 개입 뿐 아니라 자녀요인과 일-가족 전이에 대한 개입 또한 요구됨을 시사한다. 그리고 가족 생활주기에 따라 자녀 연령대 맞춤형 지원제도가 필요함을 시사한다. 본 연구결과를 통해 여성복지정책, 가족복지정책 및 실천현장 프로그램을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify multiple mediating effects of work-family spillover and family-work spillover on the relationship between child factors & mental health of married women employees. For the analysis, data of 1,650 married women employees with children from the 7th years of the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women & Families were used. The study hypotheses were tested using Structural Equation Modeling analysis with AMOS 21.0 software. As a result of the study, the subjects of this study experienced work-family positive spillover & family-work positive spillover higher than negative spillover, and it was found that the spillover pattern did not show a typical appearance. Neither the number of preschool children nor the number of school-age children had a direct effect on stress and depression, but had an indirect effect through the spillover type as a medium. As for the total effect on stress, the number of preschool children was the most influential, and for the total effect on depression, work-family negative spillover, the number of school-age children, and stress were the most influential. The results suggest that in order to improve the mental health of married working women, not only the intervention of mental health itself but also the intervention of the child factor and work-family spillover are required. Furthermore, implications, limitations, and future directions were discussed based on the results.
