국문 초록

본 연구는 초기 스타트업 액셀러레이터의 투자결정요인을 탐색하고, 투자비중이 높은 ICT 분야와 투자 비중이 가장 낮은 제조업 분야의 투자결정요인의 차이점을 비교 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 민간 및 공공 액셀러레이터 기관의 대표, AC, 투자 담당자 등을 포함하여 ICT 및 제조업 분야에 투자경험이 있는 전문가들을 대상으로 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)기법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 투자결정요인의 상위요인으로 ICT 분야와 제조업 분야 모두 ‘팀원/창업자 특성’을 가장 중요하게 평가하는 것으로 나타났다. 하위요인으로 ICT 분야는 ‘시장성장성 및 신시장 창출가능성’.‘창업자의 유연한 사고 및 실행력’,‘팀원/창업자의 고객 및 시장 이해도’순으로 나타났으며, 제조업 분야에서는 ‘창업자의 관련 산업경험 및 전문성’,‘시장성장성 및 신시장 창출가능성’, ‘팀원의 관련 산업 경험 및 전문성’순으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 초기 스타트업이 투자유치에 성공하기 위해 고려해야할 주요 요인을 제시하고, 액셀러레이터들은 어떤 요인에 중점을 두어 투자의사결정을 내릴 것인지 판별하는 주요한 자료로 활용될 것을 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the investment determinants of early startup accelerators and to compare and analyze the differences between the investment determinants in the ICT sector with the highest investment share and the manufacturing sector with the lowest investment share. In order to achieve the research purpose, the analysis was conducted using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique for experts with investment experience in ICT and manufacturing fields, including representatives, AC, and investment managers of private and public accelerator institutions. The analysis results of this study are summarized as follows. As a top factor in investment determinants, it was found that both the ICT field and the manufacturing sector evaluated the characteristics of team members/founders As a sub-factor, the ICT field is market growth potential and possibility of creating new markets .It appeared in the order of founders flexible thinking and execution and customer and market understanding of team members/founders, followed by founders related industrial experience and expertise, market growth potential and new market creation, and team members related industrial experience and expertise. Through the results of this study, it is expected that early startups will present major factors to consider in order to succeed in attracting investment, and accelerators will be used as major data to determine which factors to focus on to make investment decisions.
