저개발국가의 보건위기와 디지털 사회적기업

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 COVID-19로 인한 보건위기 상황에서 저개발 국가의 보건서비스 제공을 사회적기업의 활동을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 지금까지 다수의 저개발 국가들은 보건서비스의 취약성으로 인해 외부의 지원에 의존하고 있었다. 그러나 지역 간 봉쇄, 국가 간 이동의 금지로 인해 여성과 아이들, 임산부와 노인, 저소득 노동자들은 보건 서비스의 접근성이 더욱 어려워졌다. 이런 상황에서 저개발국가의 사회적기업들은 기존의 서비스 제공 방식에서 벗어나, 디지털 방식을 활용하여 서비스를 제공하는 디지털 사회적기업으로 변화하였다. 디지털 사회적기업은 스마트 폰, 비디오, 오디오 등을 활용하여 서비스를 제공하는 사회적기업으로, 디지털 방식에 기반하여 보건서비스 제공에 중요한 역할을 한 것으로 분석되었다. 그러나 본 연구는 2차 자료를 분석하는 방식으로 연구된 것으로 현지조사와 인터뷰가 아니라는 점에서 한계가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to focus on the activities of social enterprises to provide health services in underdeveloped countries in the face of a health crisis caused by COVID-19. Until now, many underdeveloped countries have relied on external support due to vulnerabilities in health services. However, the blockade between regions and the prohibition of movement between countries made it more difficult for women and children, pregnant women, the elderly, and low-income workers to access health services. In this situation, social enterprises in underdeveloped countries have changed from the existing service provision method to digital social enterprises that provide services using digital methods. Digital social enterprises are social enterprises that provide services using smartphones, videos, and audio. Based on the digital method, it was analyzed that it played an important role in providing health services. However, this study is limited in that it is not a field survey and an interview as it was studied by analyzing secondary data.
