국문 초록

4차산업혁명의 도래와 함께 단순한 지식의 습득이 아닌 창의성을 바탕으로 하는 문제 해결과 혁신적 사고에 대한 중요성이 더욱 부각되면서 인간중심의 사고를 기반으로 현실 속에서 해결해야 할 문제를 찾고 해결책을 적극적으로 제안하는 방법론인 디자인씽킹 교육이 확대되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 창의성 개발을 위한 디자인씽킹 교육프로그램의 효과를 분석하고 개선방향을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 Creswell(2013)의 사례연구 방법을 활용하여 창의성 개발이 필요한 대학생과 교육전문가를 대상으로 디자인씽킹 강좌를 진행한 후 교육에 관한 인터뷰를 통해 심층분석을 진행하였다. 본 연구의 사례를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 학습자들은 공통적으로 디자인씽킹 교육이 창의적 사고능력 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다고 하였으며, 문제해결을 위한 과정에 능동적으로 참여하면서 실천적 창의성 향상에 대한 자신감을 얻은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 문제 정의 부분에서 어려움을 느끼고 있었고, 활동시간이 부족하다는 의견을 제시하였다. 교육 전문가들의 경우 창의성 개발에 디자인씽킹이 효과적이라는 부분에 대해서는 인정하였지만, 교육전문가들이 디자인씽킹 프로그램의 취지를 이해하고 학습자들의 능동적인 참여를 위해 체계적인 운영이 필요하다고 하였다. 본 연구는 연구결과를 바탕으로 향후 창의성 개발을 위한 디자인씽킹 프로그램의 방향성을 모색하고 좀 더 효율적인 교육 진행을 위해 앞으로의 강좌 개발에 적용시킬 수 있는 교육 개선안을 도출하고 자 한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Design Thinking Education Program for Creative Development in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era and to develop an improvement direction. The researcher, based on the case study of the design thinking education, wanted to provide basic data for the development of an effective design thinking program and seek improvements. As a first step of the study, we reflected on existing design thinking - related studies and tried to use them to develop more effective design thinking education programs by investigating the link between creativity and design thinking. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, in-depth analysis was conducted through an interview concerning education after the design thinking course was conducted for university students who need to develop creativity. Experts were also interviewed to draw up opinions about the program and directions for improvement in education. Research has shown that the design thinking training has significantly contributed to enhancing the ability of creative thinking. The qualitative analysis results showed that participants were more confident of enhancing their practical creativity by actively participating in the process to solve the problem, and an in-depth analysis of the cases could lead to improvements in education.
