영문 초록

This paper aims at consideration in artistic achievement and literary viewpoint of frontier poetry of Corea and early Joseon period. Kimgu(金坵) expressed a fear of foreign intruder, Yuan Dynasty on the poem of frontier poetry. Honggan(洪侃) exemplified human frailty against armed force. In the frontier poetry of Corea compared with early Joseon period, a pseudoclassical style is not claimed yet. It expressed feelings of frontier which based on personal experience. the early Joseon period writers divide broadly into two groups. One passed the state examination in Corea and participated in the work of founding Joseon dynasty, the other born in the Joseon dynasty and pledged to be a dutiful subject to their king. Frontier poetry s writer of them is the latter. Kanghuimang( 姜希孟) writes five frontier poems with a composition on the frontier. He produce an atmosphere of dignity with a preface of a Royal letter form. Poetic diction and idiom originated in an ancient event aren t a hackneyed phrase but original thing. Soenghyeon(成俔) raises quality of work with a distinctive style which involving lamentation and tune phrase with an old poem melodies. This form is the only thing in three hundred frontier poetry. In the contents of poem, he claims the useless of war. Kimjongjik(金宗直) writes poem with a pseudoclassical style and uses poetic words repeatedly. In the contents of poem, he emphasizes the relation with the ruler and the ruled and rising in the world and gaining fame, shows a conservative tendency.
