국문 초록

국내의 각 지방자치단체 또는 기관에서 별도로 운영하는 CPTED교육 과정은 프로그램개발과 교육생에 의해 제한적 운영이라 할 수 있다. CPTED 관련 사업이 확대되고 있고, 주민들의 관심이 높음에도 불구하고, 공무원들의 인식 확산이 더딘 것은 관련된 교육프로그램이 충분하지 않은 것도 주요 원인일 것이다. 국내에서 CPTED 교육은 경찰인재개발원을 제외하면 여전히 ‘CPTED의 이해’에 초점을 맞추고 있어서, 기초수준의 이론을 중심으로 과목이 구성되어 있는 실정이다. 경찰인재개발원의 경우 미국의 교육프로그램과 상당부분 유사한 점이 많았으며, 교육대상이 명확함에 따라 공무원 교육보다는 심화된 특징이 있다. 이 연구를 통해 CPTED 교육방향의 함의로서는 행정 및 경찰이 교육 이후에도 실무적으로 다양한 공동활동을 추진하기 위하여 실습형 수업과 같은 맞춤형 교육과정이 필요함을 제시하였다. 또한 대한건축사협회와 같은 전문민간기관과의 공동교육도 추진해볼 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

CPTED education courses operated separately by local governments or institutions in Korea can be called limited operation by program development and students. Despite the expansion of CPTED-related projects and the high interest of residents, the slow spread of awareness among public officials may also be the main reason for the lack of relevant educational programs. In Korea, CPTED education still focuses on Understanding CPTED except for the Police Human Resources Development Institute, so subjects are organized around the theory of basic level. In the case of the National Police Human Resources Development Institute, there were many similarities with the U.S. education program, and as the target of education is clear, it has more features than the education of civil servants. In the case of education periods, local governments operate with short training hours ranging from one to two days. On the other hand, it is common for a foreign country to require a period of two or more weeks, although the composition of the curriculum varies depending on the circumstances of each country. In most foreign countries, it is divided into basic and advanced courses, and the education period is longer than in Korea.
