‘의미있는 타자’ 경험을 통한 청소년기의 위기에서 성인기 의미있는 삶으로의 변화에 대한 내러티브 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 삶의 과정에 있어 여러 가지 요인들로 인하여 위기에 노출된 청소년기를 보내고 정체감의 혼돈을 경험했음에도 그러한 위기의 경험들을 성장의 동기로 활용한 참여자의 삶을 탐구해 보았다. 본 연구는 참여자의 삶의 맥락 속에서 청소년기에 위기 경험이 있지만 이 시기를 지나 의미있는 타자 경험을 통해 삶의 전환과 성인기의 삶의 가치와 의미를 찾아가는 과정에 대해 탐구하고자 내러티브 탐구 방법을 활용하였다. 의미 있는 타자를 경험한 연구 참여자의 삶의 이야기 속에서 발견한 의미는 <홀로 걷는 아이 >, <수용과 안정의 의미있는 만남>, <버텨줌을 받은 경험이 버텨주는 타자로>를 도출하였다. 청소년의 위기 시기를 지나고 의미있는 타자 경험과 함께 의미있는 성인기의 삶에 대한 이 내러티브 탐구가 청소년기의 자아 정체감 형성과정에 일어났던 생의 경험들의 의미를 이해하고 의미있는 타자의 관계 경험들을 해석해 봄으로써 삶의 방향에 대한 재점검과 재구성의 기회로 활용되기를 기대하며 더불어 우리가 일반적인 사회적 문제라고 치부 해버렸던 위기청소년의 문제행동을 바라보는 편향된 시각의 변화와 지지 체계의 중요성과 필요성을 돌아볼 수 있는데 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

In this study, the researchers explored the lives of participants who had experienced rough times, being exposed to crisis for various reasons and experiencing identity confusion in their adolescence but used it as a motivation for growth. This study is a narrative inquiry on the ‘significant others’ experience of those who has been seeking values and meaning of life despite the experiences of crisis in adolescence in the context of participants’ lives. The life of individual cannot be defined as success or failure, rather it is the result of a series of choices and actions in each crisis and change in life. He was a “significant others” or “surrogate parent” who held a hand at the moment of crisis in the participant’s life, helped him find his identity in the contact with the “role model,” and examined the role and influence of the “significant others” who helped find a turning point to live a life of hope. With the significant others experience and the meaning of the change in life of the research participants, the following concepts were defined: , and. By understanding and interpreting the meaning of life experiences in the process of creating self-identification in adolescence, the researchers hope that it can offer an opportunity to re-examine and reconstruct the direction of life directions, and to reflect on the necessity and the importance of our support system.
