중·고교 전문상담교사와 내담학생(비행청소년) 간 관계에 대한 상호지향성 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 상호지향성 모델을 통해 상담교사와 내담학생 간 상담과정에서의 인식차이와 합의상태를 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 양 집단 간 동의와 차이의 인식정도를 비교 분석함으로써 비행청소년 상담에 있어 정책적 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 중·고교 전문상담교사와 내담학생 간 관계성 요인에 대한 객관적, 주관적 일치도는 낮고 두 주체 간 정확성에서 상담교사가 내담자의 생각과 인식을 거의 읽어내지 못하여 현 상담체제의 보완과 재설계가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 내담자들이 관계성에 대해 단순한 의견불일치를 보인 반면 상담교사들은 객관적 불일치와 상대방 인식에 대한 추정의 정확성이 낮아 허위합의 상태를 보여 의사소통상 오해와 왜곡을 초래할 개연성이 컸다. 이에 상담 이외의 부가적 업무를 부여하지 않고, 상담교사가 소외감이나 소속감 결여를 느끼지 않도록 하며, 경험 많은 선배 상담교사의 배치도 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to derive policy implications in juvenile delinquency counseling by identifying differences in perception and agreement in the counseling process between the two groups. As a result, it was found that the current counseling system needs to be supplemented and redesigned as the counselor hardly reads the client s thoughts on the accuracy between the two subjects while the objective and subjective agreement between middle and high school counseling teachers is low. In other words, while the client group showed simple disagreement on relationships, the counselor group showed a state of false consensus due to low accuracy of estimation of objective disagreement and counterparty perception, which was very likely to cause misunderstanding and distortion in communication. It is desirable not to give additional tasks other than counseling as much as possible by changing the practice of handling tasks after work, and it is also necessary to deploy experienced senior counseling teachers who can discuss difficulties in the counseling process, such as keeping clients confidential.
