국가무형문화재 한영숙류 태평무의 바람직한 발전방향 모색

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 한영숙류 태평무의 발전적 방향을 모색하기 위함이다. 태평무는 1998년 국가무형문화재로 지정된 이후 강선영류만 존재하였다. 그러나 2016년 무형문화재법이 시행되면서 1종목 1인의 보유자 체계에서 다수의 보유자를 인정하는 제도의 틀이 마련되었고, 이에 준하여 2019년 한영숙류 태평무가 국가무형문화재로 지정되면서 박재희도 보유자로 인정되었다. 이런 현황에서 한영수류 태평무가 무용계에 보급·전승하기 위한 방안에 대한 연구가 절실히 필요하다. 그러나 이에 앞서 한영숙류 태평무의 근간에 대한 연구와 더불어 기존의 강선영류 태평무와의 차별성을 통해 한영숙류 태평무의 특성을 드러내는 일이 선행되어야한다고 생각한다. 이에 연구자는 한영숙류 태평무의 원천에 대해 살펴보고, 강선영류 태평무와의 비교를 통해서 한영숙류 태평무의 특성을 드러내면, 나아가 한영숙류 태평무를 전승한 박재희 태평무를 분석하였고, 이를 바탕으로 한영숙류 태평무가 나아가야 할 방향에 대해 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the developmental direction of Han Youngsook’s Taepyeongmu. Kang Seonyeong’s Taepyeongmu had been the only kind since the designation of Taepyeongmu as a South Korean Intangible Cultural Heritage in 1998. With the enforcement of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Act in 2016, the policy of one holder per item was updated to recognizie multiple holders. When Han Youngsook’s Taepyeongmu was designated as a national Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2019, Park Jaehee was acknowledged as a holder as well. Under this circumstance, further research on the dissemination and inheritance of Han Yeongsook’s Taepyeongmu is greatly required. However, such research should be preceded by a study to recognize the unique characteristics of Han Yongsook’s Taepeyongmu as differing from that of Kang Seonyoung’s should be preceded, along with the study of the fundamentals of Han Yongsook’s Taepeyongmu. Accordingly, we investigated the origins of Han Yongsook’s Taepyeongmu, emphasized the characteristics of Han Yongsook’s Taepyeongmu through comparison with Kang Seonyeong’s Taepyeongmu, and further analyzed Park Jaehee’s Taepyeongmu, which inherited Han Youngsook’s Taepyeongmu. Based on this, we suggested the direction of Han Youngsook’s Taepyeongmu.
