국문 초록

본 연구는 호스피스완화의료 자원봉사의 죽음 관련 문제를 검토한 국내 연구를 체계적으로 고찰하여 호스피스완화의료 자원봉사자 교육 및 관리에 대한 함의를 제시하고 후속 연구에 대한 방향을 제시하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 데이터베이스인 RISS, KISS, DBpia, 국회도서관에서 키워드를 중심으로 검색하여 PRISMA의 체계적 연구 고찰을 위한 문헌 선정 기준 권고에 따라 총 15편의 논문을 선정하여 분석하였다. 연구대상 논문을 주제별 발표연도 현황을 검토하고 연구방법론 측면, 연구 주요 결과를 중심으로 분석하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 호스피스완화의료 자원봉사자의 죽음 관련 변인을 검토한 연구가 점차 증가하고 있으나 논문 편수가 양적으로 적었다. 둘째, 방법론 측면에서 측정 도구가 우리나라에서 타당도 검증이 되지 않은 도구들이 활용되었고, 대다수가 횡단설계의 양적 연구로 질적 연구, 혼합연구 등 다양한 방법론적 접근이 요구되었다. 셋째, 분석대상 논문이 주요 결과를 검토한 결과 호스피스완화의료 자원봉사자의 죽음 태도, 인식, 불안 등의 죽음 관련 변인은 생의 의미, 봉사 참여 태도 및 지속 의지 등에 영향을 미치는 것으로 보고되고 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 호스피스완화의료 자원봉사자의 죽음 관련 변인을 측정하는 도구의 개발 및 타당도 검증 연구 등 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to systematically review Korean studies that investigated the death-related variables of hospice palliative volunteers, present implications for hospice volunteer education and management, and suggest directions for follow-up research. A total of 15 papers were selected and analyzed according to PRISMA s recommendation of literature selection criteria for systematic research review by searching keywords in the database ‘RISS’, ‘KISS’, ‘DBpia’, and ‘National Assembly Library’. This study anal 15 articles(1999-2019) on variables related death and dying in hospice palliative volunteers, focusing on the analysis of the research methodology and the main results of studies. The results of this study are as follows. Research on the death-related variables of hospice palliative volunteers is gradually increasing, but more diverse studies need to be conducted. Some studies have used tools that have not been validated in measuring death anxiety and death attitude in the context of culture of Korea. Death-related variables such as death attitude, perception, and anxiety of hospice palliative volunteers affect the meaning of the volunteer s life, attitude to participate in volunteer work, and willingness to continue. Based on these results, suggestions for follow-up research were presented.
