사범대학 재학생의 교수역량

국문 초록

본 연구는 교사가 될 사범대학 재학생들이 갖추어야 할 교수역량을 탐색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 교사의 전문성 및 대학생의 핵심역량과 관련된 국내외 문헌들을 고찰하여 개념적 틀을 도출한 후, 전문가들의 의견을 수렴하여 잠정적 교수역량 모형을 도출하였다. 초점집단인터뷰와 델파이조사를 통해 교수역량 모형을 확정하고, 진단도구를 개발하였다. 모형의 타당성 및 진단도구의 신뢰도를 확보하기 위해 사범대학 재학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 사범대학 재학생 419명의 자료를 바탕으로 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 양호한 적합도를 나타내어 교수역량 모형이 타당한 것으로 판단되었다. 연구결과, 사범대학 재학생의 교수역량은 윤리의식 및 열정, 교과전문성, 수업설계 및 자료개발, 수업실행, 평가 및 결과활용, 상담 및 생활지도, 학급운영 및 행정의 7개의 역량으로 구성되었다. 이러한 결과는 향후 교원양성기관의 교육과정 개편 및 교육 프로그램의 개선을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate the teaching competencies of college students studying to become teachers. A conceptual framework was developed by conducting literature review and a competency model was structured by gathering opinions from experts. After the competency model was finalized based on focus group interviews with six department heads and the Delphi survey with 17 professors of the college of education in S university, a teaching competency measurement tool was developed. To validate the model and the measurement tool, 419 students of the college of education were surveyed for a confirmatory factor analysis. The seven competencies were ethics and passion, subject expertise, instructional design and development, teaching practice, evaluation, counseling and guidance, and class management and administration. The results indicate that this measurement tool can be used for revising curricula and improving educational programs in education institutions for pre-service teachers.
