고등학교 특수학급 교사의 학교 내 현장실습 운영에 대한 경험과 인식

국문 초록

본 연구는 일반계 고등학교 특수학급 학생을 대상으로 학교 내 현장실습을 운영하는 교사의 경험과 인식은 어떠한지를 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 위해 K도 소재 7명의 일반계 고등학교 특수학급교사가 참여하였으며, 면담을 통해 질적 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특수교사들은 학교 내 현장실습을 통해 장애학생의 책임감 향상과 직장예절 습득을 중점적으로 지도하고 있었다. 둘째, 학교 내 현장실습을 통해 장애학생은 취업하고자 하는 의지를 향상시킬수 있었고, 익숙한 환경에서의 실습은 업무에 적응하는데 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 학교 내에서의 직종 선택의 제한, 직업 현장 적응력 감소, 현장실습으로 인해 발생되는 수업결손과 학생으로서의 신분 혼란이 발생되었다. 넷째, 일반교사의 학교 내 현장실습에 대한 부족한 인식, 직무지도교사의 비협조, 관리자의 무관심이 학교 내 현장실습 운영을 어렵게 하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 학교 내 현장실습이 효율적으로 운영되기 위해서는 지역사회의 협력과 학교 내 현장실습에 운영에 따른 특수교사 업무의 경감 및 학교 구성원의 관심과 협조가 요구된다.

영문 초록

This study investigated how the field practices for special education students of general high schools affect students with disabilities, and examined the experiences and perception of teachers who run on-site practice in schools. For this study, seven special education teachers from general high schools were involved, and data were collected and analyzed through qualitative interviews. There results are as follows. First, special education teachers focused on improving responsibility and learning workplace etiquette to help students with disabilities develop through on-site practices in schools. Second, through on-the-job training in schools, students with disabilities developed the desire to seek employment through receiving a salary, and it became an opportunity to discover new aspects about themselves, and the practice in a familiar environment had positive effects on adapting to work. Third, the limitations of on-site practices conducted within schools were limited to the choice of jobs available in schools, reduced job adaptability, and class deficits caused byon-site practices and confusion regarding the status of students. Finally, misconceptions about field practices operations in schools have shown general teachers misunderstanding, job guidance teachers non-cooperation, and school officers indifference. In order for field practices in schools to operate efficiently, the implications of this research are that cooperation in local communities andon-site practices in schools should be mitigated by operations and the interests and cooperation of school members.
