예비유아교사가 현장실습을 통해 지각한 코로나19 시대 교육현장의 문제

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 관점에서 코로나19 바이러스의 감염 예방과 유아중심의 놀이 실천이라는 두 가지 문제를 절충해 나아가는 교육현장 문제를 탐색·분석해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경남 지역 C대학교 유아교육과 4학년에 재학 중이며, 교육실습 과정을 경험한 예비유아교사 33명이 연구에 참여하였다. 연구참여자들의 교육실습 경험을 토대로 연구 주제에 대한 집단 면담과 설문지 조사, 개별 면담이 진행되었고, 그 결과 제시된 코로나 시대 교육현장의 문제는 첫째, 코로나로 인한 물리적 제약 및 개정 누리과정의 핵심 내용에 대한 인식과 적용 실태 등 교육과정 실천에 관한 문제였다. 둘째, 위생 안전 수칙들에 의한 유아들의 언어·정서·사회적 경험의 제한과 발달 저해에 관한 문제였다. 셋째, 다양한 현장 상황과 문제에 대한 교사의 인식과 대처 태도, 즉 교사 역할에 관한 문제였다. 본 연구는 코로나 사태로 인한 혼란 가운데 교육실습을 마친 예비유아교사들을 대상으로, 외부자적 관점에서 보다 직관적이고 냉철하게 코로나 시대 교육현장의 문제를 탐구할 수 있었다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study explores educational field issues that compromise the two issues of covid-19 virus infection prevention and child-centered play practice from the perspective of pre-early childhood teachers. To this end, 33 pre-early childhood teachers who experienced education practice while in the fourth grade of early childhood education at C University in Gyeongsangnam-do participated. Based on research participants experience in education practice, group interviews, questionnaires survey, and individual interviews were conducted on research topics. As a result, the proposed educational field issues in the Corona era are as follows. First, it was about the practice of curriculum, including the recognition and application of the main contents of the revised Nuri curriculum, and physical constraints caused by Corona. Second, it was about the language, emotional, social experience and development limitations of young children caused by cleanliness and safety rules. Third, it was about the teachers’ role, including teachers’ perception of various field situations and issues and their response attitude. This study is significant in that it was able to explore the issues of the Corona-era educational field more intuitively and coolly from an outsider s perspective, targeting prospective pre-early childhood teachers who have completed education practice in Corona Pandemics.
