영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to propose ways to evaluate the vulnerability of infectious diseases to support local governments in establishing policies to respond to infectious diseases. For this purpose, 1) This research defined vulnerability operatively based on literature and prior research review, classified vulnerability as a Spread Vulnerable Facilities(SVF), Infection Vulnerable Group(IVG), Social Vulnerable Conditions(SVC), and Infection Responsive Ability(IRA), and selected 24 detailed indicators by four categories. 2) Analytic Hierarchy Process was performed on experts in the relevant field to determine the relative weights among indicators. 3) Infectious disease Vulnerability Composite Index(IVCI) was calculated in Chungbuk Province(CP). As a result of the analysis, 1) This research developed SVF index, IVG index, SVC index, and IRA index, and calculated IVCI by integrating them. 2) Based on IVCI, this research identified what factors could increase or reduce the spread and damage of infectious diseases by regions. In the case of CP, among the 11 local governments, Jeungpyeong-gun, Cheongju-si, and Jincheon-gun were found to be highly vulnerable to infectious diseases. The results of this research can be used to determine the priority of infectious disease response policies, and also apply to other local governments.
