국문 초록

본 연구는 학교 주 5일제에 따라 디지털매체를 활용하여 주말 교회학교 유아생태교육프로그램을 기독교 세계관에 기초해 개발한 논문이다. 학교 주 5일제가 교회교육에 부정적, 긍정적인 영향을 주었다는 것과 긍정적인 차원에서 현재 다양하게 연구되고 적용된 사례를 살펴보았다. 문헌을 살펴본 결과 유아를 위한 주말 교회학교 프로그램은 거의 없는 실정이다. 또한 현대사회의 특징이라 할 수 있는 디지털 문화와 자연환경의 관심으로 인한 유아생태교육이 일반교육에서는 활성화되고 있지만 기독교유아교육에서의 접근은 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 유아가 디지털 문화와 미디어 환경에서 살아가는데 중요한 미디어 리터러시 교육에 대한 고찰과 기독교세계관에 근거하여 디지털 문화에 대한 이론적 고찰을 하였고 여기에 근거하여 프로그램 개발을 시도하였다. 기독교 세계관(창조, 타락, 구속)에 근거하여 디지털매체를 활용한 주말 교회학교 유아생태교육 프로그램의 주제, 목적 및 목표를 추출하였다. 교육내용으로는 유아가 숲 활동을 통하여 하나님 창조세계의 관리자로서의 역량과 생태계의 소중함을 인식하도록 구성하였다. 숲 활동영역은 창조, 타락, 구속에 대한 특징을 세분화하여 영역별로 분류하고 각 분류된 영역에 대한 숲 프로젝트를 진행하는 것으로 구성하였다. 교수학습 방법으로는 도구 리터러시교육, 숲 활동, 이야기 나누기, 1·2·3차 표현활동을 1·2차 표상작업과 매체순환을 통하여 교회학교와의 활동으로 연계하였다. 프로그램을 실행한 결과 유아들은 숲에 관심을 가지게 되었고 디지털 리터러시 교육을 통하여 매체 활용에 흥미를 가지게 되었다. 또한 숲 활동을 통해 기독교 세계관적 안목을 가지게 되었다.

영문 초록

This study is to develop a weekend church school eco-centered early childhood education program based on a Christian worldview in utilization of digital technology for the school five-day week system. Examined were the positive and negative effects of the five-day week system on church education and various recent cases of research and application in a positive perspective. As a result, it turned out that there were few weekend church school programs for children. In addition, although eco-centered early childhood education becomes common in general as interests in digital culture, which is the very feature of modern-day society, and natural environment increase, few approaches to Christian child education were found. This study, therefore, attempted to develop the program based on the investigation on medium-based literacy education, which is essential for children to be accustomed to the digital culture and media environment, in addition to the theoretical investigation on digital cultures and a Christian worldview. Based on a Christian worldview( creation, corruption, and redemption), the theme, purpose, and object of weekend church school eco-centered early childhood education program in utilization of digital devices were extracted. As to education contents, children were help to appreciate God’s might as the manager of the creation world and the preciousness of the eco-system by means of the forest activity. The forest activity was classified with the features of creation, corruption, and redemption specified respectively, and the forest project was carried out for each classified area. As to teaching/learning methods, the tool-based literacy education, forest activity, storytelling session, and expression activities 1 to 3 were conducted in association with church school activities in such ways as the first and second representations and medium circulation. As a result of the program implementation, children started showing interests in the forest, while the digital literacy education aroused interests in the use of devices among children. In addition, the forest activity helped them to develop the Christian worldview.
