국문 초록

21세기는 자연과 이웃과 내가 모두 조화롭게 함께 더불어 사는 것을 배우는 것이 중요한 교육의 과제이다. 사람들은 오늘의 세계가 서로 연관되어 있다는 상호의존성과 문화적 다양성을 배워서, 다른 사람들의 역사와 전통, 가치를 이해하고 존중함으로 언제 어디서나 일어날 수 있고 일어나고 있는 갈등들을 평화롭고 합리적인 방법으로 풀어가는 것을 배우는 교육을 필요로 한다. 기독교교육은 하나님이 우리를 부르신 뜻을 향해 하나님이 만드신 모든 피조물들이 ‘함께 더불어 사는 것을 배우는 것’이며 무엇보다도 함께 살기 위해서 요구되는 보편적 가치관과 삶의 태도를 배우는 것이다. 함께 사는 것(living together)을 생각하고 배워야 하는 이유는 아무리 지식과 기술이 고도로 발달하여도 인류가 인종. 종교. 문화. 전통. 습관의 다름을 뛰어넘어서 함께 살 수 있는 능력을 갖추지 못하면 전쟁과 테러와 총칼과 폭탄이 난무하는 세상을 볼 수밖에 없기 때문이다. 그렇다면 자연과 사람을 포함한 하나님의 창조세계 모든 피조물들이 함께 더불어 산다는 것의 의미는 무엇이며 함께 더불어 사는 것을 배우려면 무엇을 배워야 하는가? 학생들은 무엇을 알아야 하고 이러한 교육은 기존 교육과정과 어떻게 접목되어져야 할 것인가? 기독교 교육공동체는 다른 사람과 함께 더불어 사는 것을 배우고 가르치기 위해 교육 현장과 삶의 현실 속에서 학습으로 어떻게 구현해 내고, 교사는 어떻게 가르쳐야 하는가? 본 논문은 함께 산다는 것의 의미와 함께 더불어 살아야 할 이유, 그리고 모두 함께 더불어 사는 것을 배우는 교육으로서 “무엇을, 어떻게, 어디서”에 중점을 두고 살펴본다.

영문 초록

For 21st century, learning how to live together with nature, neighbors, and myself in harmonic way is very important task in education. People necessarily need education that teaches to solve conflicts peacefully and logically that can be risen and are rising in anywhere and anytime by respect and understanding of other history, traditions and values, with learning interdependency and cultural differences that are inter-related with each other in today’s world. Christian Education is ‘to learn how to live together’ for God’s purpose in us whom were made by God. Furthermore, it is required to learn universal values and attitudes towards life in order to live together. The reason why we should think and learn of living together is because we are to see the world full of wars and terrorism and knives and bombs without fostering capability to live together by overcoming differences among human being’s race, religions, cultures, traditions, and habits even if with state-of-the-art technology and advanced knowledge. Then, what does it really mean living together with all the creatures in the world including nature and human being, and what is needed to learn? What do students need to know and how are we going to connect this to current curriculum? For Christian education community, how living together with others in ground of education field and real life is supposed to come into realization and how to teach teachers. This paper is an education to know meaning and reasons for ‘living together’ and to learn the way of living together so that it focuses on ‘what, how and where’
