국문 초록

기독교 세계관은 성경적이지도 않고 윤리적이지도 않다는 비판을 받는다. 성경적 관점으로 세상을 바라보는 것을 목표로 하는 세계관이 성경 이야기와 동떨어져 있다. 세상을 바라본다는 것은 세상의 변혁과 신자의 실천은 실제 현실과 괴리되어 있다. 그 근본 원인은 성경을 교리적 진술이나 철학적 명제로 파악하는 데 있다. 이 논문은 대안과 해결을 존 요더의 성경론에서 찾는다. 그에 따르면, 정경으로서의 성경은 그리스도인의 삶의 기준이다. 그 내용은 역사적 예수의 이야기이다. 또한 정치적이고 현실적이다. 성경을 예수의 이야기로 읽는 성경적 현실주의는 라인홀드 니버의 기독교 현실주의와 대결한다. 니버는 성경 이야기를 절대 윤리로 이해한다. 타락한 인간은 현실에서 성경을 살아낼 수 없다. 이것은 성경 권위를 약화시키고, 성경 이야기를 살아내지 못하게 한다. 더 나아가 요더는 예수의 이야기는 우리의 이야기이며, 우리의 이야기는 예수 이야기의 해석이고 주석이다. 그러므로 우리의 이야기가 예수 이야기의 일부가 되라고 말한다. 따라서 요더의 성경론은 정경으로서의 성경의 지위와 권위를 확보하고, 성경을 따라 살아가는 제자도와 제자 공동체를 요구한다는 점에서 성경을 읽는 하나의 유효한 방법이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

The Christian worldview is often criticized for being neither biblical nor ethical. The worldview that is supposed to see the world from a biblical perspective stands far from the biblical story. It is not really ‘viewing the real world’, even though its purpose should be the transformation of the world and the practice of believers. The reason for this is to identify the Bible as a doctrinal statement or a philosophical proposition. This paper finds its alternative and solutions in John Yoder’s doctrine of Bible. According to him, the Bible as canon is the standard of Christian life. It is the story of the historical Jesus. It is political and realistic. Biblical realism, which reads the Bible as the story of Jesus, confronts Reinhold Niebuhr’s Christian realism. Niebuhr understands the biblical story as absolute ethics. Fallen human beings cannot live the Bible in reality. This is a weakening of the authority of the Bible and we can’t live the story of the Bible. Furthermore, Yoder states that the story of Jesus is our story, and our story is an interpretation and commentary of the story of Jesus. He says our story should be the story of Jesus. Therefore, Yoder’s biblical theory will be a valid way to read the Bible in a sense that it secures the position and authority of the Bible as a canon and demands discipleship and discipleship community that lives the Bible.
