국문 초록

연구목적: 이 연구는 한국장애인고용패널조사 2차 웨이브 1차년도, 2차년도 패널 데이터를 사용하여 지체장애인의 자기존감과 장애수용 사이의 상호예측의 정도를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구방법: 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 2016년부터 2017년까지 장애인을 추적 조사한 패널 자료에서 2251명의 지체 장애인을 대상으로 하여 관심변인들을 추출하였으며, 연구방법은 자기회귀교차지연 모형을 사용하였다. 연구결과: 연구를 실시한 결과, 연구모형을 검증하기 위한 선행조건인 측정모형의 적합성이 충족되었다. 최종모형의 결과 지체장애인의 자기존중감은 1년 간격에서 비교적 안정적이었고, 장애수용 또한 1년 간격에서 비교적 안정적이었다. 또한 선행 시점의 자기존중감은 후행시점의 장애수용을 유의하게 정적으로 예측하였고, 선행시점의 장애수용은 후행시점의 자기존중감을 정적으로 유의하게 예측함으로써, 두 변인의 교호적 관계를 확인하였다. 결론: 지체장애인의 자기존중감 및 장애수용 증진을 위한 효과적인 방안에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study examined the longitudinal stability and reciprocal relationship between self-esteem and acceptance of disability of physical disabilities using the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled 2nd Wave (PSED). Method: We extracted and utilized variables from 1st(Time 1) to 2nd(Time 2) collected for two time points in PSED. We employed an Autoregressive Cross-lagged Model (ACLM) to test autoregressive effects of within-variables and cross-lagged effects of between-variables. Assumptions of metric invariance for testing ACLM were satisfied. The fit indices showed that hypothesized model fit data well. Results: Results showed that self-esteem and acceptance of disability were found to be stable over the one-year interval, having relative differences in terms of the magnitude of autoregressive coefficients (self-esteem>acceptance of disability). Self-esteem in previous time point predicted subsequent acceptance of disability and acceptance of disability in previous time predicted subsequent self-esteem, thereby identifying the cross-lagged effects of two variables. Conclusion: The author argued about efficient alternatives in self-esteem and acceptance of disability for physical disabilities.
