국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 학교 부적응 아동·청소년을 대상으로 한 집단 음악치료 프로그램의 효과를 알아보기 위한 메타 연구이다. 연구방법: 분석대상 논문은 2017년 4월 24일을 기준으로 Google Scholar와 RISS를 이용하여 ‘아동’, ‘청소년’, ‘음악치료’, ‘학교 부적응’ 등의 키워드로 검색·수집하였으며 세부 기준을 만족하는 총 17편을 선정하였다. 선정된 연구물은 Excel과 CMA 3.0 프로그램으로 코딩 및 분석하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 학교 부적응 아동·청소년 대상 집단 음악치료의 전체 효과크기는 .71(U3=76%)로 비교적 큰 효과크기를 나타내었다. 둘째, 조절변인별 분석결과에서 연구자 전공, 대상자의 학년별, 성별에 따른 효과크기의 유의미한 차이가 발견되었다. 셋째, 종속변인간 효과크기가 큰 편이었지만 통계적으로는 유의미하지 않았다. 결론: 본 연구를 통해 음악이라는 매체가 학교 부적응 아동·청소년에게 치료적 도구로 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 입증하였다. 학생들의 다양한 변인을 적용한 집단 음악치료 프로그램의 개발과 좀 더 많은 실증적 연구가 이루어질 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this meta analysis was to investigate the effect of a group music therapy program for maladjusted children and adolescents. Method: Research articles were searched and collected using keywords, such as ‘children’, ‘youth’, ‘music therapy’, and ‘school maladjustment’ on Google Scholar and RISS as of April 24, 2017. A total of 17 papers that satisfied the criterion were selected. These studies were coded and analyzed with Excel and CMA 3.0 programs. Results: First, the overall effect size of the group music therapy for maladjusted children and adolescent was .71(U3=76%)-it is relatively large. Second, according to the moderator variable analysis, there were significant differences in the effect size based on researcher’s major, subject’s grade, and sex. Third, although the effect size of the dependent variable was large, it was not statistically significant. Conclusion: This research proved that music can be used as a therapeutic tool for maladjusted children and adolescents. There is a need for empirical studies as well as a development of diversiform music therapy programs that consider student’s variables.
