진행성근위축 아동 어머니의 자녀 양육 경험 분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 진행성근위축 아동 어머니의 자녀 양육경험을 질적 연구방법 중의 하나인 근거이론 접근법에 따라 분석하였다. 연구 대상은 본 연구의 대상은 경남과 전남의 병원기관에서 물리치료를 받는 진행성근위축 아동의 어머니 5명이었다. 연구 대상자의 자녀는 8세-14세의 아동으로 3명은 척수근위축증 진단을, 2명의 아동은 근이영양증 진단을 받았다. 아동의 어머니는 모두 연구의 취지와 목적을 이해하고 연구에 응하기로 한 5명의 어머니로 연령은 30대 초반에서 50대 초반이었다. 연구대상과의 심층면담을 통하여 자료를 수집한 뒤 면담 내용을 모두 전사하고 개방적 표본추출 방식에 따라 가능한 다양한 개념과 범주를 찾는 데 주력하였다. 연구결과 진행성근위축 아동 어머니의 자녀 양육과 관련된 모든 경험이 중심현상인 “벅참”을 중심축으로 전개되는 것으로 나타났다. 결과 분석을 통해 중심현상에 영향을 미치는 인과적 관계, 맥락, 중재상황, 전략과 그에 따른 결과를 밝히고, 진행성근위축 아동의 가족 지원을 위한 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine what kind of core phenomenon appeared in the child-raring experience of mothers with progressive muscular dystrophy child and how they responded to that. The subjects in this study were five mothers with progressive muscular dystrophy child. In-depth interview was conducted and their interview data were transcribed. Those data were analyzed by the grounded theory of Strauss and Corbin. The findings were as follows:First, the data were analyzed into 195 concepts, 48 subcategories and 19 categories. Second, the core phenomenon they have felt during their child raring was unbearableness to bring up their children. The casual condition affecting to the unbearableness were abnormal symptom , possibility of death and ignorance . As, contexts social perception , educational-welfare conditions , support members and attitude of the child had an effect on the core phenomenon. The interventions that made an influence on their coping with the core phenomenon were attitude of husband , economic status and personality of the mother . They responded to the core phenomenon by using active strategy , dependent strategy and negative strategy . Thus, those strategies made them routinization , avoidance and reproach . Third, when a paradigm model was applied, the mothers with progressive muscular dystrophy child were classified into four types according to degree of the core phenomenon, social perception, educational-welfare conditions, support members, attitude of the child, attitude of the husband, economic status and personality of the mother.
