발달장애학생 대학교육 입학 및 지원에 대한 고등학교 특수학급 교사의 인식 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 발달장애학생의 대학진학 지원에 대한 고등학교 특수학급 교사의 인식과 고등학교에서 발달장애학생을 대상으로 실시하고 있는 진학지도의 실태와 요구 등에 대한 의견을 통해 현재 초기 단계에 있는 발달장애학생의 대학교육의 효율화와 대학 졸업 후 성공적인 전환을 위한 방향을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 참여자는 특수교사 경력이 15년 이상인 고등학교 특수학급 교사 5명으로 대학교육 지원에 대한 정보를 얻기 위해 소집단면담을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 연구대상자 확인과 동료평가를 통해 타당도를 확보하였고, 비교분석방법을 통해 연구결과를 도출하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고등학교 특수학급 교사는 현시점에서의 발달장애학생에 대한 고등교육 지원에 대하여 대체로 부정적이다. 둘째, 발달장애학생 대학진학의 기본 조건은 의사소통 능력과 자립생활을 위한 선수기능으로 나타났다. 셋째, 발달장애학생을 위한 대학입학 전형방법으로 순위적 선발방식에 대해 부정적인 의견을 가지고 있다. 넷째, 발달장애학생을 위한 대학의 교육과정은 학문 중심 교육과정과 진로 중심 교육과정을 제안하고 있다. 다섯째, 발달장애대학생의 성공적인 전환을 위해서 생태학적 환경을 기반으로한 현장 중심적이고 개별적인 지원의 극대화를 강조하고 있다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 발달장애학생의 효율적인 대학교육을 위한 지원과 발달장애대학생의 성공적인 전환을 위한 방향을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to suggest the recognition of the special class teachers who were working for students with disabilities in regular high school toward college education applying and supports for students with developmental disabilities. Five special class teachers were participated for this study. Small group interview was utilized for this study. The results of this study were that: (a) the special class teachers were negative the system of college education applying and supports for students with developmental disabilities; (b) communication skills and independent skills were required to study in college; (c) the ranking method to suggest the opportunity studying at college was not appropriated for students with developmental disabilities; (d) academic and vocal traing programs were suitable to support the students with developmental disabilities in college curricula; and (e) field-centered curriculum, ecological and individual programs were proper to successful transition for students with developmental disabilities. Therefore this study concluded that the college education applying and support system for students with developmental disabilities was important policy, however there were many problems to solve to ensure the effective education in the college level for students with developmental disabilities.
