국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 능동적 촉각 자극 강화 프로그램이 경직성 뇌성마비 아동의 손 기능에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 데 있다. 이를 위해 만 6세에서 만 10세의 경직성 뇌성마비 아동 16명 평균 연령 만 7세 9개월(실험군 8명, 대조군 8명)을 대상으로 12주 동안 주 2회 40분씩 치료 프로그램을 실시하였다. 실험군은 운동중심의 손 기능 훈련과 감각중심의 능동적 촉각 자극을 적용하였고, 대조군은 운동중심의 손 기능 훈련을 적용하였다. 손 기능 평가 도구인 Jebsen Hand Function Test를 사용하여 우세 손과 비우세 손에 대해 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 실험군의 전･후 전체 수행시간 비교에서 비우세 손은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 실험군과 대조군 간의 전･후 전체 수행시간 변화량 차이 비교에서 비우세 손은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이 연구를 통해 능동적 촉각 자극 강화 프로그램이 경직성 뇌성마비 아동들의 손 기능 향상에 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find out the effects of active tactile stimulation reinforcement on hand function of the children with spastic cerebral palsy. The subjects were 16 children, age between 6 to 10 years old, with spastic cerebral palsy. They were randomly divided into two groups(an experimental group of 8 subjects and a control group of 8 subjects). The treatment program was performed 40 minutes two times a week for 12 weeks. The experimental group was treated by both hand functional training exercise and active tactile sensory stimulation. The control group was treated by conventional hand functional training exercise. The Jebsen Hand Function Test was used to measure the differences between the dominant hand and nondominant hand. First, in comparison of total performance time before and after application of the treatment program for the experimental group, the significant difference showed in nondominant hand(p=0.023). Second, in comparison of changes of total performance time before and after application of the treatment program between the experimental group and the control group, there was siginificant difference in nondominant hand(p=0.018). This study shows that the active tactile stimulation reinforcement is effective on improving hand function of the children with spastic cerebral palsy.
