국문 초록

새로운 포스트모던 시대를 맞이하여 장애인의 여가 욕구를 만족시켜줄 수 있는 관광활동에 대한 심도 있는 논의가 필요하다. 특히 장애인이 관광을 추구하는 과정에서 그들의 관광활동을 직·간접적으로 추동할 수 있는 기반을 마련하고 사회적 공감대를 형성해야 한다는 측면에서 중요하다. 이에 본 연구는 목표지향적 행동모델을 장애 인구에서 가장 높은 비율을 차지하고 있는 지체장애인을 대상으로 관광태도, 주관적 규범, 지각된 행동통제, 예상정서와 열망 그리고 행동의도간의 관계를 규명함으로써 지체장애인의 관광행동을 이론적으로 검증하였다. 합리적 행동모델에서 간과된 감정 변수인 열망은 지체장애인의 관광행동을 이해하는 데에도 중요한 변수라는 점이 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 지체장애인도 비장애인과 유사하게 하고 싶고, 희망하고, 좋은 경험과 재미를 얻기를 바라는 마음이 관광행동을 추동하는데 무엇보다도 중요함을 이해할 수 있다. 그러나 지각된 행동통제감은 열망과 행동의도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 지체장애인에게 있어서 지각된 행동통제는 스스로 관광을 전적으로 할 수 있거나 언제든지 할 수 있는 능력이 내부적으로 부여되지 않아 나타난 결과일 수 있다. 또한 지체장애인 개인의 문제라기보다는 장애인의 관광활동이 아직 우리 사회에서 보편화된 사회활동의 범주에 속하지 않아서 나타나는 결과라고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 통해서 지체장애인을 관광의 주체로 보는 인식 전환과 함께 비장애인과 동일하게 관광활동의 주체로 이해하고, 이에 알맞은 관광행동연구가 지속적으로 이루어질 수 있는 사고의 전환이 필요한 시점임을 인식해야 한다.

영문 초록

In the new postmodern era, in-depth discussion is needed on tourism activities that can satisfy the leisure needs of the disabled. In particular, it is important in the aspect that it is necessary to establish a foundation for direct and indirect driving of their tourism activities and to form a social consensus in the process of pursuing tourism for the disabled. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between tourism attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, predictive emotions, aspirations, and behavioral intentions for people with physical disabilities, who occupy the highest proportion of the disabled population using a goal-oriented behavior model. The behavior was theoretically verified. It was found that aspiration, an emotional variable overlooked in the theory of planned behavior and reasoned action, is also an important variable in understanding the tourism behavior of people with physical disabilities. From these results, it can be understood that the desire to make people with physical disabilities resemble those of non-disabled people, hope, and desire to have good experiences and fun is more important than anything else in driving tourism behavior. However, it was found that the perceived sense of behavioral control did not affect aspirations and behavioral intentions. This result can be inferred that the perceived behavioral control for the physically handicapped is a result of not being given the ability to do tourism entirely by itself or to do it anytime internally. Therefore, through the results of this study, the perception of people with physical disabilities as the subject of tourism should be converted and understood as the subject of tourism activities in the same way as those without disabilities. It should be recognized that this is the time when it is necessary to change the thinking in which appropriate tourism behavior research can be carried out continuously.
