기업 간 거래관계에서 연구개발투자가 중소기업 경영성과에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국기업데이터(주)의 패널자료를 이용하여 선도기업 거래네트워크에 포함된 제조업 부문의 협력중소기업과 비협력중소기업을 대상으로 연구개발집중도가 매출액증가율과 영업이익률에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석을 하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 연구개발집중도는 협력기업과 비협력기업의 매출액증가율에 양의 영향을 끼치고 있었다. 단, 영업이익률에 끼치는 영향은 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 성향점수매칭 방법을 사용하여 분석한 결과, 연구개발집중도가 매출액증가율에 끼치는 영향은 비협력기업의 경우 전기 1기값은 통계적으로 유의한 양의 영향을 끼쳤지만, 전기 2기값은 통계적 유의성이 없었다. 영업이익률에 끼치는 영향은 어느 것도 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다.

영문 초록

In this research, the impacts of R&D concentration on the increase rate of sales and operating profit were analyzed targeting the cooperative and noncooperative SMEs included in the flagship transactional network in the manufacturing industry, using the panel data of Korea Enterprise Data Co., Ltd. As the analysis results, first, R&D concentration has been found to have a positive influence on the increase rate of sales of the cooperative enterprises and the noncooperative enterprises. Yet, the impact on the operating profit was not statistically meaningful. Second, regarding the impacts of R&D concentration on the increase rate of sales, the analysis result using the Propensity Score Matching methods showed that, as for the noncooperative enterprises, the coefficient of 1 period lagged dependant variable had a statistically meaningful, positive impact, but the coefficient of 2 period lagged dependant variable didn’t have statistical meaningfulness. None of the influences on the operating profit were statistically meaningful.
