국문 초록

건설산업은 경제 및 시장 환경 등의 변화, 건설 기술 및 관련 기술의 발달로 갈수록 대형화․전문화․복잡화되고 있다. 그리고, 건설업 특성 즉, 지리적․시간적으로 상이한 많은 프로젝트를 수행하고 관리해야만 하는 상황은 분산된 환경에서 협업을 수행하도록 요구하고 있다. 많은 건설기업들은 이러한 협업을 지원하기 위해 웹 기반 협업 시스템을 구축․활용하고 있다. 그러나, 이러한 시스템은 개발 시 고비용, 많은 시간이 소요되고, 또한 구조가 경직되어 있어 상이한 많은 프로젝트를 수행하고 있는 건설 프로젝트 특성별로 커스터마이징하기 어렵고 하더라고 많은 시간이 소요된다. 그리고, 실제 건설업에 필요한 공정관리 등의 기능 또한 부족하다. 따라서, 이러한 부분의 개선을 위해서는 건설 프로젝트의 특성 즉, 임시성, 복잡성, 분산된 작업 환경 등의 특성을 고려해, 프로젝트별, 시간의 흐름에 따라 시스템이 패치 가능해야하고, 또한 건설 프로젝트의 효율적 관리를 위한 공정관리 등의 기능들이 직접 지원되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 연구의 두 가지 큰 축인 건설 프로젝트 특성을 반영하여 시간의 흐름에 관계없이 프로젝트별로 시스템 패치 및 공정관리 등의 기능을 구현할 수 있는 기존에 활용된 적이 없는 저비용의 소프트웨어를 선정하여 웹 기반 협업 시스템 프로토타입을 제시하고, 활용 및 효과를 분석해 본다.

영문 초록

Construction Industry performs different projects geographically and timely. The present project management requires the collaborations in distributed environment. Many construction companies use web-based collaboration systems to perform the efficient collaboration. Looking into existing trend of study and practice use, they set limits to the improvement of functions of system, system development and application of solution. But, they are difficult to customize in a point of view of users because the existing system and solution are stiffened. That is, they have the lack of system flexibility. In addition, They dont offer the functions such as scheduling to be necessary for construction projects. Application of solutions and systems development require much cost and time. Many companies including the small and medium construction companies dont use collaboration solutions and systems because of the above problems. As different functions are needed, the large enterprises procure the separate solutions, or develop system by themselves. Through analysis of trend of study and practice use, this study points out problems of existing solutions and systems, and present the method of application of web-based collaboration system through a software improve those.
