보육교사와 학부모의 안전교육 경험과 안전사고 대처능력에 대한 실태분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 보육시설의 안전교육실태 및 대처능력에 대한 보육교사와 학부모의 인식과 실태를 알아보기 위해 창원시에 소재한 어린이집 중 국공립, 가정, 민간, 법인 학부모와 보육교사를 대상으로 보육시설 안전환경에 대한 인식, 안전교육 실태, 보육교사와 학부모의 안전사고에 따른 대처방법에 대한 인식, 안전사고에 따른 대처방법에 대한 보육교사와 학부모의 지식 안전사고 발생 시 응급처치에 필요한 이론적 또는 체험적 지식의 보유 여부 등에 대한 인식을 비교하였으며, 보육교사와 학부모가 영.유아 안전사고와 관련하여 올바른 인식과 지식을 가지고 안전사고를 미연에 방지하고, 안전사고 발생 시 적절하게 응급처치 할 수 있는 안전교육 프로그램의 연구방향의 의견 제시를 목적으로 수행하였다. 연구 결과 보육교사와 학부모의 영.유아 안전사고 예방지식이나 대처 능력이 대체로 미흡한 것으로 나타났고, 안전사고 예방 프로그램을 개발하거나 활성화 하는 것이 필요하고, 체계적인 교육을 위해 가정과 어린이집이 상호 연계된 안전사고 예방 프로그램의 실시가 요구되며, 보육교사와 학부모를 위한 안전교육 프로그램이 개발되면 후속 연구를 통해 효과를 검증하는 일이 계속되어야 할 것이다. 보육시설과 가정에서 영.유아 안전사고가 일어날 위험성은 항상 존재하며 위험이 언제 어떻게 일어날지 정확히 예측하기는 매우 어렵기 때문에 위험상황에서 보육교사와 학부모의 안전사고 지식과 대응 능력은 사고예방과 대처에서 매우 중요하다. 안전사고에 대한 정확한 지식이나 사고 발생 시 신속한 대처는 영.유아의 안전과 건강에 결정적으로 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 궁극적으로 보육교사와 학부모의 영.유아 안전사고 예방 교육은 우리 사회 전체의 안전 강화의식을 강화하여 안전사회를 이루는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

To find out the awareness and status of child care teachers and parents of the safety education and their ability to cope with the safety accidents of child care facilities, this study conducted by parents of public, family, private and corporate parents and child care teachers in Changwon, and the knowledge needed for awareness of the safety environment of child care facilities, recognition of the safety education status of child care providers and their children s safety accidents, and knowledge of the emergency education institutions and their knowledge required for the response methods. It was carried out for the purpose of presenting opinions on the research direction. The study found that the child care teachers and their parents ability to prevent or cope with infant safety accidents is generally insufficient, that it is necessary to develop or activate safety accident prevention programs, that families and daycare centers are required to implement safety accident prevention programs interconnected for systematic education, and that verification of the effects through follow-up research will continue. Since there is always a risk of child safety accidents in childcare facilities and homes, and it is very difficult to predict exactly when and how the risks will occur, the safety accident knowledge and ability of child care teachers and parents to cope with them is critical in accident prevention and handling. Accurate knowledge of safety accidents or prompt action in the event of accidents can have a decisive impact on the safety and health of infants. Ultimately, it is expected that the education of nursery school teachers and parents to prevent child safety accidents will contribute to the achievement of a safety society by strengthening the sense of safety enhancement in our society as a whole.
