국문 초록

본 연구는 융합놀이 프로그램을 적용하여 유아의 인성에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위해 C초등학교 병설유치원의 만 4세 20명의 유아가 참여하였으며, 유아에게 4주간 8회차 분량의 융합놀이 수업을 적용하였다. 유아들에게 융합놀이 수업 적용 전후로 인성 평가 척도 검사를 실시하였고, 관찰과 학부모 면담 기록을 통해 유아들의 인성 변화 데이터를 수집하여 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 융합놀이를 통해 유아는 상대방을 존중하고 의사소통을 통한 문제해결능력이 향상되었다. 둘째, 융합놀이프로그램에 기반한 유아 융합놀이 수업을 통해 인성 함양 정도가 유의미하게 향상되었다. 셋째, 유아는 융합놀이를 통해 자신의 소중함과 올바른 자존감, 성숙한 배려심을 깨달은 것을 관찰할 수 있었다. 또한 또래 집단에의 소속감과 아름다움에 관한 심미적 감성을 키우는 계기가 된 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해 유치원 교육환경에서도 융합놀이가 필요하고, 더욱 발전될 수 있을 것이라는 점을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of conversion play program on the children s personality. In this study, a total of twenty 4-year-old infants at a kindergarten attached to C elementary school participated in the eight sessions of convergent play classes for four weeks. Before and after the application of the convergent play program to children, the participants conducted a personality evaluation test. The results showed that convergent play provided an opportunity to respect each other and to improve problem-solving skills through communication. Second, paired sample t-test results showed that there was a signigicant increase in the personality test (p<.001). The analysis of observation records and parental interviews about infants who had convergent play classes also suggested that infants realized their value, correct self-esteem, and mature consideration through convergent play. In addition, convergent play classes helped participants to develop a sense of belonging to a peer group and an aesthetic sensitivity to beauty. These findings imply that convergent play is necessary and can be further developed in a kindergarten educational environment.
