토론중심 융합교육 프로그램을 적용한 중등특수교사의 인식에 관한 질적 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 중, 고등학교 특수학급에서 토론중심 융합교육 프로그램을 수업에 적용한 중등특수교사의 인식과 관련한 질적연구이다. 연구자가 개발한 총 6차시 분량의 토론중심 융합교육 프로그램을 총 5명의 중등특수교사가 2020년 6월부터 8월까지 각 학교에서 프로그램을 실행하였다. 총 2회에 걸쳐 인터뷰 형식의 온라인 수업 성찰을 시행하여 토론중심 융합교육 프로그램에 대한 중등특수교사의 인식을 탐색하였다. 연구 결과로 비록 토론수업을 적용하는 것이 어렵지만, 특수교육환경에서 토론이라는 것이 꼭 필요하며 장애학생에게도 토론 수업을 적용해 학생들의 성장을 도모할 수 있다는 점을 인식하게 되었다. 또한 수업에 대한 인식도 바뀌었는데, 토론 수업을 통해 학생중심의 수업이 구현가능함을 인식하게 되었다. 이 연구는 융합교육에 관심이 있거나 장애학생들의 수업 개선을 위해 융합교육을 특수교육 현장에서 적용해보고자 하는 특수교사에게 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This qualitative study aimed to find out how secondary special education teachers perceived a discussion-oriented convergence education program in special classes of middle and high school after implementation of the program. A total of five teachers implemented the discussion-oriented convergence education program developed by the researcher from June to August in 2020. For data collection, semi-structured interviews were conducted twice individually. The findings showed that teachers found the education program beneficial for students with disabilities even though they had difficulty in implementing the discussion-oriented program. In addition, it was found that the discussion-oriented convergence education program made it possible for teachers to organize and conduct student-centered lessons with students with disabilities. The results implied the possibility to implement a discussion-oriented lesson with students with disabilities.
