국문 초록

본 연구는 남북한관계, 남북경제교류, 통일교육이 통일국민협약에 어떤 영향을 미치는지, 그리고 남북한관계와 남북경제교류 그리고 통일교육 사이에는 어떤 관계가 있는지를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 본 논문의 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 남북한관계, 남북경제교류, 통일교육은 통일국민협약에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 남북한관계는 남북경제교류에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 남북한관계는 통일교육에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 같은 연구결과는 남북한관계가 정체되어 있고 남북경제교류는 중단되어 있어 통일국민협약에 대한 국민들의 인식에 큰 영향을 미치지 않기 때문에 나타난 결과이다. 그리고 통일교육에서 통일국민협약에 대한 교육이 제대로 이루어지지 않아 국민들의 통일국민협약에 대한 인식에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 판단된다. 다만 남북한관계는 남북경제교류와 통일교육에 직접적인 영향을 미치기 때문에 남북 간의 관계를 회복하고 활성화시켜 나가는 것이 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to find out how much such factors as inter-Korean relations, economic exchanges between South and North Korea, and unification education affect South Koreans’ recognition of the national unification contract. It also tries to find out the correlations between inter-Korean relations, economic exchanges between South and North Korea, and unification education. The results of the study are as follows. First, inter-Korean relations, economic exchanges between South and North Korea, and unification education do not directly affect South Koreans’ recognition of the national unification contract. Second, inter-Korean relations directly affect economic exchanges between South and North Korea. Third, inter-Korean relations directly affect unification education. The research findings reveal that the deadlocked inter-Korean relations and economic exchanges between the two Korea do not influence South Koreans’ recognition of the national unification contract. Moreover, unification education lacking a national unification contract does not influence South Koreans’ recognition of the national unification contract. However, inter-Korean relations directly affect economic exchanges between the two Koreas and unification education so that recovering and vitalizing relations between Seoul and Pyongyang is necessary.
