국문 초록

이상(李箱, 1910-1937) 시의 기법적인 특징을 살펴봄으로써 불안의식의 양상을 살펴보았다. 구체적으로 정체성의 혼돈과 파편화된 신체를 감지하면서 불안의식이 나타난다. 여기에 병적인 죽음의식의 징후가 그로테스크하게 전개된다. 이는 식민지 시대 지식인으로 살았던 이상이 당대를 피폐하고 암울하게 느끼고, 개인적으로도 불행한 가족사와 추구하는 이상(理想) 사이의 괴리감에 따른 표현이다. 전위적인 기법은 체제와 관습에 대한 반항과 일탈, 자유를 구현하려는 방편이다. 폐결핵으로 인한 육체적 고통과 불편한 가족 관계는 죽음에 대한 성찰로 이어졌다. 죽음의식은 신체가 파편화되어 기관들이 따로 있는 양상으로 재현되며 환영적인 이미지를 지닌다. 초현실주의 기법을 통해 힘든 현실에 순응하지 않고 유희적으로 바라보면서 절망적인 세상을 죽음으로써 바꾸어놓는다. 이상은 구태를 벗어나 새로운 언어를 실험적으로 사용하였다. 이렇게 한국시의 전통적인 요소를 파괴하면서 창조하였다는 의의가 있다. 이상은 통사론적 측면과 인식론적 측면에서의 한국시사의 아방가르드이다.

영문 초록

By looking at the technical features of Lee Sang’s poetry, the aspects of anxiety consciousness were examined deeply. Specifically, anxiety consciousness emerges while detecting the confusion of identity and the fragmented body. At this point, the signs of a morbid death consciousness unfold in a grotesque way. This is an expression based on the sense of disparity between the unfortunate family history and the ideal pursued personally by Lee Sang who lived to be feeling exhausted and gloomy as intellectuals in the colonial era. The avant-garde technique is a way to embody freedom, rebellion and deviance against the old system and customs. The physical pain and uncomfortable family relationship caused by pulmonary tuberculosis led to reflection on death. The consciousness of death is reappeared in a form in which the body is fragmented and the organs are separated, and it has a illusion image. Through the surrealist technique, he transforms a desperate world into death by not adapting to the difficult reality and viewing it in a playful way. Lee Sang made use of the new language experimentally apart from the old-fashioned sense. It is meaningful that it was created by destroying the traditional elements of Korean poetry. Lee Sang is an avant-garde of Korean poetry history in terms of syntactic and epistemological aspects.
