국문 초록

본 연구는 2016년도 GETR 데이터를 활용하여 국가별(유형별) 개인의 기업가정신을 비교하고, 창업단계별 기업가정신 수준 비교 및 개인의 기업가정신을 제고할 수 있는 방법을 찾는데 연구의 목적과 범위를 두고 있다. 이를 위해 20개국을 요소주도형(2개국), 효율주도형(8개국), 혁신주도형(10개국)으로 범주화하여 실증분석을 했으며, 연구의 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리 국민의 기업가정신 수준은 조사대상 20개국 중 최하위수준(19위)에 위치하고 있다. 효율주도형은 5.30점(평균), 요소주도형은 5.33점인 상황에서 한국은 4.41점으로 한국이 속한 혁신주도형(4.76점)보다 낮은 기업가정신을 유지하고 있다. 둘째, 예비창업가≥창업가>창업기피자 순으로 개인의 기업가정신 수준이 높게 나타났다. 예비창업가 및 창업가의 기업가정신수준이 창업기피자에 비해 훨씬 높게 나타났다는 점에서 기업가정신의 중요성을 확인할 수 있다. 셋째, 개인의 기업가정신을 높일 수 있는 중요한 결정요인은 기업가정신교육경험이며, 초중고 및 대학, 평생교육 차원의 기업가정신교육경험은 개인의 기업가정신수준에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 주요 국가별 기업가정신교육 현황과 기업가정신 결정요인을 비교함으로써 우호적인 창업환경 조성 및 창업의 질을 제고시키기 위한 방안을 모색하고 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose and scope of this study is to compare individual entrepreneurship by country using 2016 GETR data, and find out the way of comparing the level of entrepreneurship by the start-up stage and for improvement of individual entrepreneurship. To do this, 20 countries were categorized as factor-driven (2), efficiency-driven (8 ), and innovation-driven countries (10). The main results of the study are as follows. First, the level of entrepreneurship of the Korean is at the lowest level (19th place) among the 20 countries. Korea has a low entrepreneurship (4.41) than the mean (4.76) of innovation-driven countries which Korea belongs while the mean of efficiency-driven and factor-driven countries is 5.30 and 5.33 respectively. Second, the level of entrepreneurship of individuals is higher in the order of potential entrepreneur , entrepreneur, and entrepreneur evader. The importance of entrepreneurship is confirmed by the fact that the entrepreneurship of potential entrepreneur and entrepreneur is much higher than that of entrepreneur evader. Third, entrepreneurship education is an important determinant for individual entrepreneurship, and experience of entrepreneurship education at elementary, middle and high school, university, and lifelong education affects the entrepreneurship positively. GETR data is valuable in that it can be compared by country, type and individual entrepreneurship and includes the results of on-site response of policy recipients. Therefore, various studies based on GETR are required in the future.
